Very good location all clean I think is reasonable for the price . The only thing is not parking lot but but you can live you car at the street though. Other than that is a good place to stay

Beautiful home with an amazing outdoor garden. We had a slight issue with the shower during our stay but the property manager was quick to respond and the repair was done less than 24 hours within us reporting the issue. FYI: the second bathroom is a full bathroom with shower, sink and toliet but is located outdoors and the second bedroom is not attached to the main house. This is great for outdoor lovers or if you want a little more privacy from the rest of your traveling party. Overall great experience.

Interesting decor; Hindu motif. We enjoyed the pool. Appliances appeared new; one thing couldn't figure out was how to run the dryer machine...washing machine & dryer in one. The stay in general quite pleasant; neighborhood was another thing. Too many vacant homes that don't add appeal. Great location; walking distant to downtown Cathedral.

Great apartment with lots of space and high ceilings! Very clean, with well equipped kitchen and covered patio overlooking the garden and pool. Has a nice little grocery store about a block away and a new restaurant down the block. Located in a very residential area about a 15 minute walk from the grand plaza so recommended for those who enjoy a walk.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very nicely done with large spaces for cooking and hanging out. The pool area is perfect to cool off and the casita is lovely. The balcony and patio upstairs are great to watch the sunrise or sunset or happenings at the church. Be prepared for very tall spiral staircase climb to the master suite and loud barking dogs next door. Not an issue for us but could be for some folks.

We loved this property. We were a group of 4 single older women exploring Merida and the surrounding area for a week. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very comfortable to spend time in. We loved that we each had our own bedroom and bathroom and that there was a wonderful kitchen and seating area for us to gather. We were able to walk to the market, the Plaza Grande and all around the historic center. Any questions we had were answered promptly by Beto on WhatsApp. We’d highly recommend this property.

Casa Gatita is hands down one of the BEST vacation homes I have stayed in. I worked remotely for the week of my stay and can say everything went seamlessly. WIFI was always excellent. Manager Beto kept in constant contact with me to ensure I was comfortable and answered any questions or concerns I had. I can't say enough positive things about the Burro y Flauta team. You are within walking distance to several restaurants and bakeries. I highly recommend Pan Elena Vales. I purchased fresh pastries from them daily. About a 5 min walk from the casa. IMO, the casa is perfect for a solo travel, or a couple. Lots of space between the two levels, and I loved the decor of the entire. I appreciated all of the unique art and furniture throughout. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom itself was extremely spacious. Also, it was nice to have a half bath on the ground level, in additon to the main shower/restroom down the hall from the bedroom. Cooking was a breeze. Excellent coffee maker. The AC units and ceiling fans were a godsend. Not to mention the wonderful private pool. The laundry room was perfect for preparing my clothes for my trip home after my 2 weeks in Quintana Roo and the Yucatan. I would 1000% percent stay at Casa Gatita again, as well as any other property ran by this company. They are fantastic people. My one recommendation for improvement would be to have the sectional cushions re-stuffed. Parts of the sectional have a sinking aspect to the seat.

There is so much to say about Casa Jirafa! The home itself is absolutely beautiful and authentic to the local culture. The pool was such a fun bonus, especially after a long day in the Yucatán heat. The location is perfect for visiting all the must-see locations and everything is within a 10 minute walk, with plenty of restaurants, cantinas, and shopping along the way. But what truly places Casa Jirafa above and beyond any place we have ever stayed are the hosts. They answered every single question leading up to, during and after our stay, promptly and diligently. Their guidebook to Mérida is simply amazing, and they even provided more local favorites (less touristy) per our request. They secured an amazing driver from Mérida to Cancun for us, and even arranged last minute changes to the itinerary for stops at Chichen Itza and Cenote Ikkil. We prefer home rentals when traveling and for the most part have always had great experiences, but the hosts of Casa Jirafa are truly the most amazing and attentive we have ever encountered. Would absolutely recommend and consider again if we return.
