Amazing and relaxing
The Cottage was clean. We had a great time relaxing there after riding Quads at the dunes. The BBQ was easy to use and we used it twice in our four night stay. With ingredients, you can easily save a good amount of money by making your own food in the kitchen/BBQ. Overall the Cottage was comfortable and interesting. Would definitely reccomend.
Delightful Coastal Heceta Beach Cottage!
We enjoyed our cozy cottage right near Heceta Beach. We walked our dog, Berkeley, every day and evening over to run on the beach. Such fun! The cottage was very welcoming and had everything we needed. It was so fun to be there and have the loft for sleeping as well as the bedroom downstairs. We sat out on the deck sometimes to listen to the sound of the fog horn and the ocean waves. Had fun shopping around in the cute town of Florence, and there were many good restaurants to eat and drink in. The whole experience was super! We highly recommend this place and we will stay there again if our travels bring us back that way.
review for Property ID 96260 Heceta Costal Cottage
At first glance it was ok. However, it was listed as having internet/wifi available. There is none. I really needed the internet to complete my work. The main bed is uncomfortable. The recliner chair is broken. The other chair is very worn and the arms are very dirty.
Quiet, comfortable. Worth the stay.
Pleasant, comfortable. Great place to "get away."
Nice beach house!
We enjoyed our stay, however we have a couple of suggestions. House numbers would be a great help,. especially when arriving at night. Our GPS insisted that the gap in salal bushes was indeed our destination and, even when we took a chance and drove in, there was no house number. Also, we couldn't get the water heater to work, but decided to invoke the spirit of our pioneer ancestors and boil water to do dishes. Overall it was a great vacation and we loved exploring Florence.
