Whispering Loon is a beautiful barn style home. This home is beautifully decorated and recently updated with new flooring, trim, doors, paint and more. Located on Fairbanks Point facing east for fantastic sunrises and overlooking Pigeon Cove. This home offers a dock and a deck on the water. The property has wooded lots on both sides giving you a feel of total seclusion. Your rental includes two kayaks and 1 canoe.

This is a three bedroom home and comfortably sleeps 10. The main floor Master features a custom-made log canopy queen size bed. The main floor bath has a tub/shower combo. Bedroom two is located upstairs and offers a king and a bunk bed. Bedroom three is also upstairs and features a Queen bed along with two twin beds. The upstairs bath features a shower. This home has air conditioning!

Hosting a large family reunion or gathering? Our Sunset Den property is located directly across the street and can comfortably sleep 6

If you are coming to Drummond Island to ride the trails, you will need to trailer to the trailhead from this home. Side x Side’s and ATV’s are NOT permitted on M134/Channel Road.

· If you are making this reservation within 24 hours of arrival please call for check in instructions.
· Check-In after 4 PM. Check-Out by 9 AM. Check in at Drummond Island Hotel & Vacation Homes at
34834 S Townline Road. We will provide you with keys & directions.
· Any fees associated with processing a credit card will NOT be refunded if you cancel your reservation.
· Pets welcome. Pet reservation is required. Please read our Pet Policy. A $50 fee per pet applies.
· All reservations have a 30 Day Cancellation Policy.

Updated and clean with a view

This was a great property! Newly updated and very clean…and the view is amazing! Great location right on the water. We enjoyed kayaking, swimming, and hanging out on the deck enjoying our morning coffee. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a family of 5.

I've been renting properties on Drummond Island for over 20 years. This is the BEST property we have ever rented!! It is clean and very modern. Two bathrooms is perfect. This cabin made our vacation even better!! The location is awesome.

Wonderful place to relax with amazing lake views!

Drummond Island is a beautiful place. The house is nice and the lake is easily accessible. We enjoyed using the kayaks and canoes to see the lake. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need to cook. We especially liked the cool weather in late July!

Great house with an Incredible view

This was our first time to Drummond Island and we had a great stay. The whispering loon home was impressive. Great location with incredible views. The house was well furnished, had plenty of space and a large deck. The dock was great to fish from and we used the Kayaks that came with the house and had a blast. I would definitely recommend this house if you are visiting Drummond.

Beautiful and spotless lakefront cottage

This was one of the cleanest rentals we’ve stayed in. We slept in the main floor bedroom and it was very comfortable and the unique twig canopy on the bed was a fun touch. The kitchen had everything you might need for preparing meals. The restaurants on Drummond had great food so we ate out quite a bit. Thank you for a much needed break from city life! We will visit again in the future.

Summer getaway

We had a wonderful time this past week in this cabin. Our kids loved jumping off the dock and swimming. The free kayaks and canoe made for a adventurous morning activity which we all loved. The kitchen is well equipped with all your cooking needs. Master bedroom down stairs is extremely comfortable with nice mattress. Gave 4 stars due to living room furniture having a funny smell and needing updated and DVD player not properly being hooked up and having to spend time figuring out how to properly hook it up.

Immaculate house, everything brand new inside!

We opened the door to our VRBO house on the water and said wow, and each room we entered we said wow! It is close to the ferry, a short drive to town. We enjoyed coffee and sunrises on all the decks, enjoyed kayaking and fishing. Don’t pass this place up, so nicely appointed inside and out! It was very obvious that they had just completed a beautiful renovation inside. New floors, new kitchen appliances, new beautiful bathrooms, new everything! Very clean and relaxing! Every kitchen appliance you could need. We would highly recommend this place! Way better than the listing says or looks!

Peaceful and beautiful

We took our 3 kids for a week stay. The house had plenty of room, we could have fit another family. Gorgeous views from the house, the back deck and the deck down by the lake. We enjoyed a campfire every night. We brought our own paddle boards and enjoyed the water every day. Since the house is in a protected bay, the water is not choppy and the cleanest I have ever seen. In 10 feet of water you could still see the bottom. Heads up to future renters, there was only enough dish soap to last a day and not enough toilet paper to last the week. The small store on the island has much higher prices so bring your own dish soap, laundry detergent, paper towels and some extra toilet paper. We went to all ends of the island, so beautiful everywhere. We will be back, next time with an ATV hopefully. The trails looked fun.

Nice place to stay

This place gives you the wow factor when walking in because you walk in to a wonderful view of the bay. Big enough for everyone to sleep and everything was there for us to cook with including a propane grill. Plenty of toys and a canoe and kayak to use. I just wish the dock was ready when we got there and there was a little trouble to get it up for our rental but the management company got this done. The bathroom door on the first door would not latch shut. Othere than that the stay was great and the beds comfortable. I would stay again.

Last trip before the new school year

My family was very surprised at the cleanliness of the property. The size was very appropriate for the list, and the location was great. Very poor luck fishing was the only downside.

Great stay

We had a great long weekend at Whispering Loon. Plenty of space indoors and the upper deck and sun deck were great additions to living and playing spaces. Beautiful sunrises each morning to start our days. Quiet neighborhood with a dead end road - great for walks. Dogs enjoyed the nice yard. Lots of deer, loons, and even saw a black bear mother and her 3 cubs next door.

Wonderful hearing the loons and sitting out at the water. The dock was not all put in like the photos so that was a bummer because we were looking forward to sitting out there and fishing. Well stocked kitchen and overall a great place....however the furniture and beds need to be replaced. (Too well loved).

Amazing Getaway!

We visit Drummond Island every year and this property is our favorite yet. Plenty of room for our entire family, a beautiful lake front view, everything necessary to cook and tons of games and movies for the kids. We even took the kayaks out, which my oldest daughter and I really enjoyed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Whispering Loon

Went there with friends and had a great time! We had an issue with the TV and the manager responded almost immediately. We left a couple items behind and they were very responsive in mailing them to us. Highly recommend.

Very nice home on water.

The home was just as the listing described it. It is on a beautiful bay, with a large yard, a nice deck, and a dock. The view is very nice. The home accommodated our group very nicely. The property is on a quiet road, the kids were able to ride bikes with no worries. Lots of wildlife in the area, saw deer daily. Overall great stay.
