The house was charming and a great stay. It truly was a short walk to a beach. plenty of room for the 10 of us. The host/owner was great to work with. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Thanks for choosing AUNTIE ESCH'S Country Cottage. We Enjoyed having you !!!
Wonderful stay, everything we needed for a large family with kids. Host was very communicative and hospitable. It literally had everything we needed down to entertainment for our kids with toys and board games. The area was beautiful and quiet.
Our group was there to do service work within the area. The house is very nice and was perfect for our group to stay. The host helped us to know what was going on in the area during our stay. It was overall a nice stay!
Three of us senior gals stayed at Twin Lakes Cottage for 3 nights. It is a delightful place! It’s obvious that Pam and her brother love being hostess and host and were quick to respond to the littlest request.
They were helpful with info on the area, places to see and eat.
The cottage was clean and neat.
Good beds. Pam has had fun filling (not overfilling!) the cottage with vintage items. A walk-in pantry was a delight to find. Plenty of kitchen items. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Pleasant front and back screened porches. One porch is filled with toys and games for most ages. If there was a negative, it would be the steep stairs going up to two bedrooms. But there is another bedroom on the main level and a trundle in a sitting room. I slept there and it was very comfortable!
Thank you for a delightful stay!
Due to untimely bad weather. There was a power outage. Lasted all night until the next afterrnoon. No working flashlights. Used our phone flashlighs. Also lit our bug candles we brought for outside.
We bought gallons if water for fill the toilet. Grease ants in the kitchen. Did not turn on the air. It was 85 degrees when we got there. Took several hours to cool house down because of window air. Dirty, moldy coffee filters in the pots. The host was very friendly called often to check on us. Had a lovely welcome basket with cheese, crackers salsa. Mother nature was beyond anyones control. We made the best out of it. And still had a nice time.
Rented this for a long weekend. We had 4 adults and 6 children in our group. Nice older cottage. Our host Pam was very friendly and everything was clean and worked. Lots of beds. Cabin was great and you are on a dead endstreetso it was very quiet.
You can see the lake, but the public beaches were very small. If you want on the lake, you will want a boat. There is a public boat launch less than 5 minutes away.
We went to celebrate my daughter's birthday, it was a wonderful and peaceful experience. We were able to enjoy the scenery and grill while we were there. They supplied a lot of what we needed for the weekend, all we had to bring was the food. They had all of the cooking utensils we needed. If we did not have something the property manager was accommodating by either supplying it or giving us helpful suggestions on where to get it. I would highly recommend this property for a nice peaceful getaway.
