Stay cozy with the split system and TV, regardless of the weather. Please note the fireplace is ornamental only.

Shaky start, superb views

Something of a difficult start, arriving to find the cottage was far from clean; with dishes and cutlery put away dirty, dirt and dust throughout, and a few deceased rodents. Worse still: there were only 2 wineglasses, and we had friends coming for a couple of days. The property manager rose to the occasion and provided cleaning - which was done to a very high standard - and wine glasses. Disaster averted!The cottage is not large but had plenty of seating and was very comfortable for 4 adults, and the view over Bridgewater Bay is magnificent. One note: there are no fly screens and if the doors or windows are open for the breeze, the place fills up with flies. Screen doors would make a big difference! Otherwise a beautiful spot and a comfortable cottage.

Glorious Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I wanted something really special for my father’s Christmas gift. We just lost Mum, and he’s been a little housebound and sad. Upon stepping into the lushly furnished abode, and pulling open the blinds, his jaw dropped. The view of Cape Bridgewater was stunning. We actually deliberately ate all our meals at the house to savour those views. The Cape itself is otherworldly - petrified forests, lunar landscapes, wind farms whirling, and seals in the roaring seas.

A house with character and style. We even had a wallaby visitor on our first night although it didn’t return. If you are visiting CB this is the place to stay.
