About this space

"Harbour Mews " is an elegant choice for discerning travelers visiting Nassau. A private gated subdivision, comprised around 30 individual Town Houses, you will enjoy the privacy of the community pool and private Beach as well as the patio area in the rear of the home. Enjoy private sunbathing and intimate dining while overlooking your private ocean view. A staircase from the Property give you easy access to the Pool, Beach and Ocean. This is great for snorkeling and Kayaking
The Town house has 3 Floors, The Living area at the first Floor, 2 Bedrooms at the second Floor and the Master Suite at the 3rd Floor. The Property is in walking distance to the new 5.5 Billion Mega resort BahaMar.

Guest will receipt the key lock code 14 days before arrival, Host will make a official check in after arrival. Online check in is available.

House is large and well appointed. The location is fabulous (unit is steps from the ocean.

There are some shabby items (missing toilet paper holders) and TV stations are hard to navigate. The very few issues that we had were addressed promptly. Over-all, the location and privacy outweigh the minor issues we observed and it is a good value.

Paradise

The unit was perfect for our family of 4. The location couldn’t have been more ideal as we were close to most of the things we wanted to do. Private beach and breathtaking views made it hard for us to leave. The development was filled with the nicest and most welcoming residents. We felt right at home. Property management was extremely responsive, helpful, and kind. We can’t wait to return!

Great Home!

We had a great time and this property was great! It is in walking distance to a grocery, restaurants, liquor store. There is a narrow opening to the ocean but there is a great public beach a few minutes walk that is more spacious. We loved having the ocean view and we spent a lot of time on the upper deck. Loved it!

This listing is not right

The town home needs repair. Lots of peeling paint, worn out furniture, no hot water in either 2nd floor bathroom. Master suite bathtub does not fill & all the showers ran out of water. We could only shower 1 night. The pool area is difficult to navigate & no one cleans the pool. No hair dryer either. The only decent part was the view.

Do not recommend!!

Alicia (local property manager) informed us at check in that there was an issue with the toilets but that the plumber would be coming by. We did not realize we would be fighting it all week. She tried her best but none of the toilets (issues with all 4) worked all week. Plumber would fix and then hours later they would not flush, day after day. After trying to work with her for most of the week, we moved out to a hotel. It was way too unsanitary for us to remain any longer. We will be contacting her superiors at the rental company as well as VRBO. Properties without working toilets should not be available for rent.

The actual condo is lovely inside and is exactly like the pictures but the area around it is in horrible condition and felt extremely unsafe. You could not have paid me to get into that pool. The whole area around that one lovely condo is in very bad shape and ran down. We left after the first night. We thought a lot about walking away from $3000 but we really did not want to stay another night. I told the host my feelings and she understood but her boss was the one who controlled the refunds. This was an expensive lesson to learn but as 2 women and a girl, it was not safe for us to walk from street to back of property by ourselves.

A little piece of paradise

First and foremost Alicia our on-site concierge and host was absolutely amazing. There were a few significant issues and she was very responsive to each one offering either a resolution or alternative. My friends and I took a 5 day getaway and stayed at Harbor Mews. The property is in an extremely safe location. Even the neighborhood security startled us a bit but was always on duty in the evening and late night hours. There was apparently some construction we weren’t made aware of that had a significant impact on the water and water pressure in the house. There were several days of little to no water for showering and bathing. That was not ideal. However Our transportation to/from the airport was great. (James) and our other driver Tony was personable patient and very hospitable when it came To driving us around to dinner and other areas. I was disappointed with a scheduled chef service for a celebratory dinner that we had scheduled in advance as the chef failed at the advanced planning and logistics of the dinner and menu selections so we decided to cancel. All in all The trip was amazing and relaxing. The proximity to the beach and pool were right out back of our rental. Suggestions for future guests: the beach chairs could use a major upgrade although I understand they are shared with everyone in the neighboring homes. Most of the chairs are very dated and broken. Also it would be great if the rental home or Company provided snorkel gear and or portable beach chairs. The beach and water behind our rental is clear turquoise blue and calm perfect for snorkeling. All in all I’d give my experience an 8 out of 10 particularly because of the location and because of Alicia’s winner personality. Again, she was super responsive, very hospitable, accommodating and always offered my friends and I suggestions on things to do and places to go. I’ll definitely return and will definitely be contacting Alicia again!
