This of all the VRBO’s we have stayed in was the most comfortable and attractive, thank you to the owners and providing such a well thought out environment, designed to suit travelers from anywhere. As artists, we were all inspired to make art as well as eat and sleep here.

There was no pool or we were unable to locate it, the landlord did not respond to the location question. Very uncomfortable and squeaky beds , plus the floor was creaking a lot. The home rules requested that we turn off the lights which is a bit too much, we did not appreciate the book with tons of rules. The location is scary. We ended up leaving a day early, not comfortable at all. Sorry! I will not recommend.

Osaka stay

Unfortunately, we had an issue come up (not related to the house)that forced us to leave a day early. We enjoyed the house for our large group for the day we were there. We used mostly taxis to get around. They were very convenient, as public transport was not. One thing to note about houses in cities of Japan - the stirs in the house are steep

Osaka Art house

The unit was located in a nice area and semi quiet. Not far from the train station. It had shopping and restaurants within walking distances. Had a portable wifi so you had an extra to take with you if needed. For 4 residents it was lacking in towel quality and supply, the showers were good also being a western style. Having two bathrooms was a bonus. The unit has plenty of room for sleeping with the upstairs location. A couple of the doors are low as many residences in Japan so careful if tall. If not limber or elderly I would take caution on the stairs as they are very steep and not code as per North America standards. We enjoyed Osaka when we were there.

Very cozy, nestled home in the neighborhood

The home met our needs as a family of 8, with 6 kids. Space for everyone, 2 toilets, 2 bathroom sinks, 2 showers one with a tub. Relatively close to Fuse Station which was easy to navigate and get to major cities ie. Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, & Kobe. We would stay here again but know the police will be called on you bc of a disgruntled neighbor. Homeowner is aware, police seem to be aware and were kind when responding to us and our " noise level" at 9am the morning following our arrival. We told them how many days we were staying and they said ok. And that was it. We never heard from them again in the 8 days we were there, but we were EXTRA cautious about keeping our voices down when walking through the neighborhood. House was clean, slippers were provided for everyone to use in the house. A bicycle was available to use and came in handy. The area is very home-y feeling which allowed us to get a good feel of what's it's like to live in the culture. Lots of shops and restaurants to check out as well nearby.

Great Location, Great Stay!

Surprised to see few reviews for this listing. It is a traditional Japanese home that has been remodeled with Western amenities. To start, the location was great, close to both the Fuse station (7 min walk) which takes you directly to Dotonbori and a quick transfer to Shinsekai and JR Kawachi-Eiwa station (12 min walk) which takes you directly to Shin-Osaka if you are taking advantage of the JR Pass. The house has an open layout and can comfortably accommodate 8 guests. We also had two children with us, so the bunk bed in the upstairs room was a great touch. There are two toilets and two baths which is rare to find in traditional Japanese homes, so that was also a great feature of the property. Kazemoto-san also had plenty of thoughtful amenities that we took advantage of, such as the umbrellas, pocket wifi and outdoor slippers. He also had a bike, but we did not use this. I do caution that the stairs to the second floor are quite steep, so that could take some getting used to, but there is a support beam and two double beds on the first floor for those who might find the climb a bit difficult. Lastly, Kazemoto-san was a very responsive host and made the experience staying at his home very seamless and enjoyable! We hope to stay with him again on our next visit to Osaka. Thank you again!
