AMAZING place to stay!

We LOVEDDDD being here! The fireplace outside was awesome. All the kids (14,10,8,2) were taken care of. This home was beautiful, well taken care of, and we needed nothing. All the light switches were labeled and we really appreciated that!

Absolutely perfect little get away!Properly has to be one of the cleanest we've ever stayed at. Literally could eat off the floor haha.Has everything & then some of what you'll need.Check in was easy. Host got in contact with us a couple days prior & set us up. Will gladly be back. Thanks a bunch!

Wonderful house!

We had a great stay at this house. We couldn't believe how much room there was inside. There were lots of towels and kitchen supplies. The beds were very comfortable with a lot of extra blankets, quilts and pillows. There is a huge yard for the kids and a beautiful gazebo with a firepit, which we took full advantage of. Everything was clean and in good shape, with nice furniture and electric fireplaces to take the chill out. Our family had such a wonderful weekend here!

Cozy and clean

We stayed here as a half way point between Decorah and Pikes Peak State Park, and it was a perfectly cozy place to relax at night. This home has the most stocked kitchen we’ve ever stayed at, and our boys loved the big back yard to play in. Highly recommend!

Fall Girls Trip

We were so pleased with our accommodations. Lots of room to spread out. Had extra things like card table and chairs, blow up queen mattress to watch tv and endless kitchen utensils, appliances and pans. Everything was so neat and clean, very tastefully decorated. We’ll probably return next year!

Country privacy near city amenities

Loved our stay at this not-so-little red house! It was warm and welcoming. The decor was comfortable and every space was well organized and meticulously clean. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the country views, and the opportunity to really relax with family. Spent time in Decorah, Prairie Du Cheine, Waukon, Luana, and Postville. Especially enjoyed the Scandinavian museum in Decorah, also enjoyed shopping and learning about the history of the area. It was a beautiful drive to either Decorah or Prairie Du Cheine. The apple cider doughnuts from the Shihata orchards in Prairie Du Cheine were awesome; as was breakfast at MagPies in Decorah and at the S&D Cafe in Waukon. We all would love to return!

Amazing Home

The home is beautiful. You feel right at home, its very cozy feeling. Every time I communicated with Susan, the response time was great. I have never been to a rental that was so well stocked with linens, the kitchen had everything. We will be coming back here again.

Wonderful respite

We had a lovely visit with family in this spacious, well equiped kitchen, clean bright cheery comfortable home. Enjoyed nature, lilacs in bloom, several varieties of birds, and a wonderful fire in the firepit with cooktop. Will definately be back!
