Nice and spacious and lakefront! This place was perfect for our family. Great kitchen, fully stocked. The three bathrooms were a bonus. We love Barona Beach, a fantastic complex with private beach and swimming pool. A boaters dream!

This is a spacious condo in a fantastic location. This is the second time we have stayed in this condo. We would definitely stay here again.

The unit was in a great location with a good layout. There were multiple small deficiencies, including no soap, laundry soap or extra toilet paper provided; the sheets were old so they didn’t fit the bed and came off after a few hours of sleep; the microwave was broken; there were two vacuum cleaners but both did not work and there was no broom provided; all the batteries were dead in the TV remotes, amongst others. We contacted the owner about the sheets, who got the cleaners to change them but the replacements were just as problematic. None of these are big issues, but collectively they sum to question the value you are getting for the money. After leaving, the owner accused us of breaking one of the blinds when in fact it was broken before we got there. It was our fault for not documenting this on arrival. I think the issue is that the owner lives in Texas with no local property manager, so they are not aware of the multiple deficiencies and then falsely attributed the broken blinds to us. We lost our damage deposit as a result, and I would recommend that you video record any deficiencies on arrival so that you can document they were pre-existing. The owner was upset that my 12-year-old daughter disposed of her sanitary napkins in the garbage in the bathroom. I found this to be unusual because this is the appropriate disposal method given they can’t be flushed down the toilet. It also seemed invasive that the cleaners were scrutinizing what we put in the garbage.

Any place in Kelowna in summertime is beautiful. Unfortunately, we had just stayed at a nicer place days before for lesser money so the comparison did not meet our expectations.

Great condo

The condo is very comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. The pool and hot tub are very nice and being right on the beach is great. The condo was clean and has everything you need except shampoo/cond, soap in the shower and extra toilet paper. I always bring my toiletries so it was fine, but thought I’d mention it for anyone else wondering.

Great place to stay

Perfectly laid out condo with tons of common space and huge kitchen. Bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Parking was under the building next door and very convenient but your vehicle must be under 7’2” - ours was fine so no problem. Everything we were doing was on the other side of the lake and traffic was a bit rough going back and forth, but this is still a great place to call home on a Kelowna visit.

An excellent birthday getaway

Our family celebrated my mom's 60th here. She was blown away by how gorgeous the property was. It's even better than the photos. We had a fantastic time at the pool and lake. The unit had everything we needed to make meals . We were 8 adults and it still felt spacious. The location cannot be beat. The Walmart and Winners were conveniently close. Frind winery was literally right outside. I recommend going there for wine tasting followed by a pizza picnic by the lake. The only thing I would suggest is to bring a mattress topper for the daybed as it's quite firm. Thank you for letting us stay at your place, it was a dream! Tip: VRBO does not automatically take the outstanding payment, unlike other booking sites. My vacation almost got cancelled because of this mistake, but the host kindly let me rebook.

Absolutely perfect. Love the kitchen set up. Rooms a re all large and comfy. Adults and teens loved

Grandparents and adult kids made some very special memories here. 6 nights of heaven. Only thing we could say negative. Is the balcony needs a good clean. Spiders were a problem. The large willow tree was a bonus for shade. Beautiful views. Would love to stay here next year too.

Weekend Golf Getaway

Perfect location for our Kelowna golf trip. Unit was spotless and incredibly comfortable. Well appointed kitchen. We did not have time to take advantage of the pool, but saw many happy faces enjoying it. Many thanks for the hospitality.

Good stay, could have been better.

There are many good things to say about our stay here, and several important things that made it not quite as great as it could have been overall. The location of this place is fantastic. We’ve stayed at Barona before, and this units location and proximity to the beach and pool, parkade, and accessibility to west Kelowna is SO GOOD! It’s also very big and the fact it has 4 bedrooms is so fantastic for a larger family. Sarah was fast to respond which was nice. However, we did have several issues with a major lack of bedding being provided (there were no duvets or heavier blankets for several of the rooms and we didn’t get them until very late after checking in (like 930 pm) and our kids slept with extra clothes so they wouldn’t get cold that night. There was also definitely a lack of towels with 1-2 in each bathroom (not enough for every person staying there and we had to go out and buy our own). The place was also not well cleaned and there were some things that seemed to be falling apart. That being said, Sarah the host was very apologetic and handled the situation appropriately, to which we very much appreciated. Overall, it’s a great unit and amazing location, and I think with a different or better cleaner/point person to prep the space it would get 5 stars easily.

Great location for wine touring

The property was beautiful and the location is fantastic. Great beach access and the pool was lovely. It is suitable for a family or group who want to have a quiet vacation. Not good for groups who want to be loud or have smokers in the group. Property is very rigid about their rules and there are lots of them. Beware before you rent and really read the property rules. This is the only place we have ever stayed where my husband enjoying a cigar or us having to black out our kids windows with tin foil has ever been a big problem. As long as you are aware of what you can and can’t do there and it works for your family then this is honestly a fantastic place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Great beds, lots of room. Kitchen could be stocked with spices and things like tin foil, cooking spray etc. but very minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of a vacation.

Beautiful apartment, the views were phenomenal. The listing doesn’t do the place justice, huge space. Plenty of room for 8 adults, 3 full bathrooms. Check in and out was easy, place had great kitchen supplies and plenty of toilet paper / garbage bags etc. The resort itself was awesome as well, the pool was warm and hot tub perfect. We will be back!
