Graduation stay

We stayed here for my son’s graduation from ASU. House exceeded expectations. Plenty of room for entire family of 12. Pool was perfect for the weather and very thoughtful to have double handles on all the doors going to the outside to prevent kids from being able to sneak out unattended. Overall great stay.

The property was great for 11 people. We all had our own space and the house was spacious.We enjoyed the pool and the beautiful views, the pool table room and the basketball court provided much family fun..Would definitely stay here again. Fun was had by all!

Just as expected and then some!

We were very happy to see that the home was just as expected when arrived and also pleasantly surprised that it was so fully stocked with everything we needed. Really appreciated the laundry soap, coffee stock, and odds and ends to lessen our running around. We only wished we could’ve stayed longer! A great spring break stay in a nice area. The management and owner reached out prior to check in to assure we had everything needed which was very nice. Totally recommend!

Amazing Vacation Spot!

We just finished up our week long stay in Scottsdale. This home was perfect for both adults and children. The basketball court was a huge bonus for our teenage boys! Mark, the owner, was very responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay. He purchased life vests for our 3 young children after we inquired about having any available. Our family would definitely visit again!

Beautiful home! Everything was well stocked! We had a group with various ages (but all adults). The house was clean and so comfortable. The views were stunning. We all felt right at home. The home is in a convenient location and quiet neighborhood. We will absolutely be back.

Fantastic Stay!

Let me first say, we come to Scottsdale 4-6 times a year to show horses. And rarely do we stay at a house more than once. This may be my go to when we are down here. First, I have to give a shout out to Mark. He checked in before we got there confirming check in instructions. And as well as half way through the trip to see if we needed anything! That was a step above most houses we stay at.The house was awesome. We were so comfortable there, had PLENTY of space and the backyard is amazing. Plus a heated pool…which was heaven. Kitchen made cooking for a large group so easy, and loved having access to the back yard from the bedroom!! 10 out of 10!! We will be back!!!

We loved staying in this beautiful home. My had a big group of family for ASU graduation and loved every minute of our stay -- we all left saying we should have stayed longer. We had plenty of room for people to be comfortable at night for sleeping, but what we loved the most was the gathering space. My favorite was the beautiful big kitchen where we ate every meal around the kitchen island. The yard was gorgeous as well and although it was hot we were able to enjoy the shade and the pool. Would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your beautiful home.

Set against the quiet backdrop of a serene Arizona neighborhood, this spacious property offers an inviting retreat for families and larger groups seeking both comfort and connection. Indoors, the home is thoughtfully equipped: a well-stocked kitchen, multiple TVs, a pool table, a karaoke machine, and an array of games cater to a wide range of interests.Outdoors, the space truly shines. Three barbecues and several seating areas make the backyard ideal for leisurely meals and evening gatherings. The pool, kept at an ideal temperature, provides a welcome reprieve from the desert heat.Accommodations are generous. The master suite includes a fireplace, exercise machine, and workspace, while additional rooms—with bunk and trundle beds—are well-suited for younger guests. Adults may need to pair up in some rooms, though all are spacious and comfortable.During our visit, triple-digit temperatures made air conditioning essential. While the bedroom wing warms easily, ceiling fans and early ventilation helped maintain a pleasant indoor climate.A note of caution: wildlife is part of the terrain. We encountered two snakes, including a rattlesnake, near the outdoor bins. Daytime disposal is recommended for safety.Attentive ownership and a responsive management team ensured a smooth experience from arrival to departure. The result: a relaxing, memorable stay and a property we’d eagerly return to.

In general the house was fine.

The house was ok, but there needs to be additional attention to detail. We could not use the pool for 3 days as it had not been cleaned. The windows of the house which does have a nice view were extremely dirty. In terms of the TV/Cable we had continuous issues. From no functionality upon arrival requiring a lot of time and effort to get the main TV working. Every time we turned the TV on we were asked for a software update, This required additional effort to get this off the screen. We also think when service people come to an occupied house they should inquire with the occupants rather than just entering the property.

Left a little more to be desired

As our first VRBO experience this left an unfavorable taste in our mouth. Checking in, the directions were unclear on how to check in, so unclear that the cleaning crew was unable to access the property so when we finally figured out how to enter the house, the property was not cleaned. This cut into our vacation start as cleaners had to be resent out as we were trying to unpack for our stay. Fortunately, the property was quick to respond and apologize but this still cut majorly into our stay and a late checkout was not offered. Since the cleaners worked in haste, many of the cleaning details were overlooked such as trash left in the rooms. In addition to our stay, various contractors were showing up to the property claiming they were there to paint the exterior during our stay. In a VRBO contract, there was to be no Amazon packages to be delivered to the property, but doorbell upon doorbell proved that packages were showing up to the house. There was a pile by the front door by the time we left. With 13 people staying here, the property management agreed to reimburse us only $150 because that was what the inconveniences to them were worth. This is a mixed bag of a vacation. The rooms were okay, the pool was fine, there is no formal dining area for the 13 of us. This is a GENEROUS 3 star review based purely on the fact that the property responded quickly, but we don't feel we were accurately reimbursed for all these incidents.

Beautiful home just needed more attention to detail

House was very nice, although there were some things that should have been fixed before our stay. Thermostat on the one side of the house was broken and could not be switched to air conditioning. Fortunately, the weather was not too warm during our stay, but it did get warm in the house during the evening. Also, no window screens in one of the bedrooms and a ripped screen in the master bedroom. Pool was only 60 degrees on our arrival and it took 2 full days before we were able to swim. Disappointed as it was one of the main reasons we booked with this property and it was advertised as a heated pool. The management did send someone to check on the pool heater the following day after our arrival. Kitchen could have been stocked better. Not enough drinking glasses. We had to buy a glass tumbler at the dollar tree for my dad’s martini. Blinds in the family room (east facing) were missing. Mornings in the kitchen were very bright and made it difficult to see. The towels (bleach stains) and linens were inexpensive and did not match the caliber of this home. Plumbing needs a little work — bad water pressure and water would go from very hot to very cold in the showers. The house could have been cleaned better. Found an opened box of cereal and an open (no lid) can of pringles in the pantry. Also, the master bathroom had stains on the toilet lid that needed to be cleaned and another bathroom had some type of stains (possibly dried blood) on the cabinet that came off when wiped. Felt a little put off when I inquired about there being no boxes of tissues in the home to the management person and she told me I was on my own for that. I’ve rented numerous homes and they all have been stocked with tissue. The walls throughout the house were nicked and needed some fresh paint and the doors coming in from the pool to the family room were pretty beat up. Overall, I felt that whoever is managing this property needs to look at this house with fresh eyes. There were other items that needed attention, but I don’t feel it’s my job to provide a punch list to the owner of this property. On the plus side, the backyard view was spectacular and the house was large enough to accommodate our group of 9 comfortably. The location was convenient to the trail head for hiking. Very quiet neighborhood.

The unexpected snow experienced right before your stay along with the very cold weather during your stay temporarily impacted the temperature of the pool. Wonderful Getaway

Very much enjoyed our time here. The backyard has a beautiful view of the desert and mountains. House had all the amenities that we needed and lots of beds. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Great location near attractions, Quiet gated community near hiking trails

We had 9 people in our family at this home for a week and we had a great time. Plenty of room and beds for all. The pool was clean and heated nice and warm on an unusually cold week for Scottsdale so that the younger children could swim and play for hours. The kitchen was spacious and we all had plenty of places to sit and eat together. Location was near Butterfly museum, Sea Odysea, Spring training baseball at Scottsdale Stadium and close to fun restaurants. We were a short walk to hiking trails in the desert and up mountains. It had a nice view of mountains and desert scenery.
