Breathtaking views call your attention at this gorgeous waterfront home! 'Egret's Cove' is located next door to our ever popular sister vacation home, 'Heron's Cove'. Egret's Cove is rich with amenities, leaving nothing to be desired for an enjoyable vacation stay. With the amazing views, blissful sunrises, bay breezes, pet-friendly, you'll be in awe that this bay front home has to offer! This home was built directly on Little Oyster Bay in 2004, and has a large screened porch with a hot tub. Boasting beautiful water views from almost every room, the interior features tasteful decor, lots of natural light and a vaulted ceiling in the living room that lends to the "openness." One bedroom with a king is located on the first floor (with a Jack and Jill bath). The kitchen also features everything you will need to cook for the family while vacationing, and there is a wet bar adjacent to the dining area. In the large open living room you will also find a full size sleeper sofa. Moving upstairs, you'll again be "wowed" by the views! In the loft, you will find a queen sleeper sofa as well as a game table, twin sleep sofa and plenty of room to relax. One bedroom features a king size bed, with a private balcony. Across the hall you will find another bedroom with a queen size bed, lots of natural light and a dedicated workspace. There is a large deck that has a spiral staircase to make your way down to the screened porch.. You will also find two full bathrooms in this space. Each bedroom also features a smart TV for your enjoyment! Outside, experience a private oasis and enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub overlooking the Bay while finding peace in the natural elements surrounding the space. Relax on the front deck or by the fire pit - all of which is enclosed by a fence so your furry friends can roam without worries. There is also a shared dock with the home next door, perfect for kayaking or crabbing.

- Linens and towels are included with your reservation.
- No smoking is permitted on the premises.
- This property is pet friendly with a pet fee per pet. Pet fee is $150 per pet. All pets must be disclosed prior to arrival.
- Any reservations made for a future year (known as "Advanced Reservations") are subject to rate and availability changes. These reservations will be confirmed in January of the arrival year.

A Great Weekend Getaway

I joined a few friends for a quiet weekend getaway at Egret's Cove in Chincoteague, and it couldn't have been nicer! I've stayed at the house previously, and my return visit was as pleasant as my first. The house is well-maintained, comfortable, and convenient to town and local attractions. More than that--it's quiet, scenic, and extremely peaceful. I'm already looking forward to another visit sometime soon.

Great house

Absolutely fabulous!

House is great and has everything you could need. The views are amazing and it's great to be able to bring the dog with you. The management company was super friendly and easy to work with. Hope we can go back when it's warmer!

Awesome place!

The house was a beautiful place! Immaculate condition when we arrived. Close to shops, restaurants, Assateague Island. Saw tons of birds, several horses and some turtles. Nice quiet neighborhood. Had a great walkway and dock for us to use. Have no complaints. Was very easy talking to the manager, able to text when we needed information. A truly great week was had!

Great family home and location

This is a wonderful home for a family vacation. The scenery was beautiful. The property felt very safe for the dogs and the kids. The hottub and the screened porch was a hit amongst everyone. The only downfall was the enormous pet fee that was additionally charged a week prior to our stay. It would have been nice to know the cost of thepet fee initially or in the contract, also was not included when initially booking the home after disclosing pets would be traveling with us.

Breathtaking views and island vibes await!

We had a wonderful stay at Egret's Cove. We visited before peak season and enjoyed the peace and relaxation. Water views from almost every corner of the home, a beautiful screen room with comfy rockers, a comfortable porch to take in the afternoon sun and a fireplace for the cooler mornings. We enjoyed being able to sit on the dock and all the birds. Lots of places inside the house to sit and relax. Nice selection of movies and games for family time. Very convenient location. Host/property manager communicated throughout the process. The only issue we had was a couple of very loud barking dogs that were obviously left outside at nighttime nearby. Highly recommend this beautiful, relaxing dream home for families looking for some quality time together.

Great Location/ Pet Friendly

We loved staying with our two chihuahuas. Loved the hot tub and the dock. The exterior of the home and fence need new paint and the gate to the dock sticks. On downside, we were not thrilled about having to supply our own laundry or incur a ridiculous additional fee. Also not thrilled about the envelope requesting an additional cleaning tip on top of the already very high cleaning fee paid directly to VRBO--particularly since we had to do all our own dishes and provide our own bedding and towels, etc.

My family had the best time! The house, yard and dock were perfect for my six grandchildren and grand dog. The boys loved star gazing from the balcony tops! We enjoyed crabbing from the pier and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog to run around and explore. We would definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay and felt extremely comfortable in this home. Plenty of room, gorgeous view, and the screened in porch and hot tub were the icing on top. The large kitchen had plenty of storage, the floor layout allowed for everyone to spend time together or find some individual peace in another room of the house, and the large windows gave us an exceptional view at all times. We even saw some fireworks over the lighthouse!

This house really had it all! I loved the beachy decor filled with books, puzzles, and games for the whole family to enjoy. If I owned a beach house I would want it to be like this one. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room for the family to spread out. We had a wonderful time!

We loved Egret’s Cove! “Dock time” was a favorite part of the day. Our dog Luna enjoyed the fenced in yard. There is a dog park on Chincoteague, be sure to bring your furry friend’s vaccination records to obtain a park pass. It’s $15 for the week. Egret’s Cove is in a great location, an easy bike ride to wherever you are headed. For families who like to cook (which we did) a big kitchen and table for family game night. We look forward to vacationing here again. Minor issue with ants but it’s hard to avoid near the water.

We had a wonderful stay at Egret’s Cove. The house is bright and beautiful, with beautiful views of Little Oyster Cove from each room. The porch overlooking the bay was totally screened so you could comfortably sit and enjoy the view or have a meal at the large table, or soak in the hot tub. As it was cold the first few days we were there, we enjoyed the cozy fireplace (thank you to Leah at the Chincoteague Resort realty for arranging the gas tank for it quickly.) The house is comfortable and very well equipped and in a quiet location for rest after a day at the beach or exploring the area. When the weather warmed we enjoyed sitting on the dock. We even saw the total lunar eclipse as you can see the moon rise over the bay from the house windows.

Beautiful and Relaxing!

Beautiful house, just lovely! Location was fantastic- nice and quiet. That big living room window provides the most amazing view! Beds were large and comfy, as were couches. Hot tub was clean and relaxing. Fenced in yard was a big plus for our pup. Thank you for letting us stay! :). We will be back!

Our family had the nicest time here! The home was perfectly suited for us and our Goldendoodle, Canela. We loved the main level master and the oversized screened in porch. The hot tub was very clean and the nicest hot tub we ever had at a rental. The dock was spot on and we enjoyed our morning coffee there while our kids fished in their PJ's! Thank you for providing such a comfortable and cozy home for us to enjoy!
