Beautiful place!! Very clean (which is a big huge plus - lots of reviews state cleanliness but they aren’t) . Quiet location and very peaceful, planning out next trip there.

Magical getaway for your honeymoon! The home should be featured in a magazine - beautiful and functional - we had the wood stove going most of the time - so lovely! Everything was perfect and would recommend to anyone and everyone!

The cabin was wonderful, however a shower indoors would have been better. The temperature was a bit cool for the outdoor shower.

This was our 4th trip to Fiddlers ,we look forward to the stillness at night and to boot this year a fantastic full moon to see rise by a good fire . Will return 🤩

The cabin was clean and bright. The kitchen had everything that you needed to cook if you wanted to but we didn’t. The fire pit was nice for a relaxing evening.

Fairy-tale house

We loved this place! Super immaculet and very roomy even with just one bedroom. Loved walking around in the area. Just beautiful! Will be back for sure. Maybe in the cooler months this time

What an amazing place! It’s so peaceful and absolutely beautiful. The property was exactly as described. Such a quaint little cottage and immaculately clean. We enjoyed every moment even though the weather was not the best. The owner is extremely friendly and so helpful. Definitely recommend five stars!

Weekend Getaway

Our stay at Fiddlers Rest was PERFECT! It was a great cozy getaway for our family and dog. The accommodations were excellent and the host did a wonderful job providing everything that was needed for a wonderful weekend getaway. We definitely will be coming back!

Wonderful Spring Getaway

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay. Such care and love has gone into Fiddlers Rest. Lulu spoke to my husband and she was absolutely lovely.The fog was thick and it rained. We built a fire and my husband finished a book! We explored in the rain and love all the treasures on the land.We did have a problem with the sight on paying for our pet. We texted and called and made the decision to bring her. Lulu told us to leave the money and a note, so it all worked out.Thank-you for your hospitality.

A perfect country escape

We were more than impressed by this property, and surpised by the total freedom from other people on the lands. We loved staying at this charming property that is rustic and thoughtfully decorated. The views are amazing and the place is completely quiet. There is a long driveway up from the 'main road', which is really a very lightly traveled road anyway. We enjoyed the silence, and the bucolic views and lifestyle. It was late winter and there was snow on the ground when we arrived, but the heating unit kept the place very comfortably warm. We cooked a lot, but were also only 20 minutes from Brattleboro restaurants. A really great stay, and we hope to return.

Thank you so much for making our little relaxing honeymoon so special. The place was even better than the photos!! My dogs loved going out for walks around the area while my wife was able to unplug and FINALLY relax a bit. Thank you again!!

Second stay at the Fiddler's rest

We had another great stay for us at the Fiddler's rest. The cabin is beautifully set in a private stetting in the forest. The interior design is colorful and tasteful. The cabin could comfortable host or group of 4 people. The internet connection was great. We would be happy to visit again!

Loved the stars!

This cabin was very cute, CLEAN and clolorful. The blue chairs in the living room were very surprising nice! And the TV worked great. I loved the bedroom-the bed was really comfortable, but I would recommend bringing a sleeping mask, the sun comes in first thing in the AM and it is BRIGHT! The kitchen had everything I needed-but no dishwasher. The location was great. NO traffic whatsoever! My dog had plenty of room to run, and there are trails out back as well. So if hiking is your thing, you dont even have to drive to find a nice spot! The only two things I had trouble with was the 3 steps from the living room to the bedroom, that are painted the same color-which is hard to see in the dark. I also was not thrilled with the outdoor shower. Just not into it. - The communication was great between the host and myself, no complaints. She is at the bottom of the long drive way- so if you need anything, she is right there. At night, we'd sit out back and just marvel at the Milky Way. Beautiful and serene...Just the way we like it. Would definately recommend staying here!

The perfect getaway!

This is our third time at Fiddlers Rest. It is the perfect getaway for a mental reset. The cottage is so cozy and thoughtfully decorated. We brought our dog who enjoys surveying the property from the front porch. The fire pit in the back is the perfect way to end the day with a glass of wine and gorgeous views. We will definitely be back. Thanks for an amazing visit.
