A spacious, luxurious, fabulous WATERVILLA (100m2) with gorgeous garden, big terrace and romantic views. Swans, ducks and even kingfishers are regular guests.
The houseboat has a light open space, and two floors. The floors are not devided into rooms. The downstairs floor has a double bed (180x200 cm) on the canal side with a second television and adjacent second toiletroom. On the garden side (devided by a bookwall) is a space with a single bed (80 x 186 cm). Between the two beds is an open space (view over the canal) with library and big writing-desk. The living room is upstairs, diningtable, television, open kitchen and a bathroom with tub/shower and a seperate toiletroom. In the living space is a sofabed where 2 persons can sleep. The kitchen provides everything you may need and contains a quooker (instant boiling water), washingmachine and dryer.
Quality of the canal water is excellent for a swim.
Rental period is on request. Minimumstay 7 nights maximum 2 weeks but it depends on other plans. Rent is based on the use of 2/3 persons. Ask for an offer in case you want to come with more than 3.
On request we provide a babybed, highchair and tub for free.
The tramstop (7+14) is just 2 minutes walk away from the houseboat and it will take you in 15 to 20 minutes to the centre and tourist spots.Tramline 7 to the Museum square and the antiqueshopsquarter (Spiegelstraat). Tramline 14 goes to Waterlooplein (Waterloosluare), Rembrandtplein (Rembrandt-square) , Muntplein (the Mint) , Dam-square, and the train station (Central Station).
Behind the tram stop you find the great FLEVOPARK with a new pub where you can sit at the waterfront and try their home made liquors. The FLEVO SWIMMINGPOOL (also behind the tramstop) is open every day during summertime.
You will find great typical Dutch locations for eating and drinking, Brouwerij het IJ, restaurant Wilde Zwijnen), and the famous Dappermarket, lots of shops and bars at the INDISCHE BUURT (a typical Dutch residential area) within walking and biking distance. There is a supermarket at 10 minutes walking distance. Nearby is a place to RENT A BIKE. A great cinema and outgoing place is STUDIO K. Nearby lots of new architecture at IJburg (build in the former Zuiderzee) to be admired. Great biketrails in the countryside within one hour along the water to DURGERDAM and the WATERLAND-region.
