Looking for a seaside getaway? Come unwind at our peaceful and one-of-a-kind property by the ocean in rustic Deep Bight, just minutes from the town of Clarenville. De-stress to the sound of a rushing river, relax on the beach just one minute down the path in front of the house or sit on the patio and enjoy the Atlantic views and fresh air. At night, why not enjoy the fire pit near the river, or barbecue by the gentle waves lapping against the shore? Or sit in the hot tub and overlook the ocean?

Great place to stay, a cozy and inviting home that offers everything you will need. The location is perfect for getting away from it all but so close to town that if you forgot something, you are just minutes to shopping. We used it as a hub and spoke for touring up and around the coast. We loved it

Great stay in NFLD

Great location for us to visit Terra Nova, Bonavista, Port Rexton and down towards PlacentiaTons of space, excellent kitchen and comfortable beds. The hot tub was also of great use :)

Wonderful stay!

Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is beautifully decorated, spacious and well-equipped. We loved visiting the nearby waterfall and relaxing in the hot tub. Would recommend this property to anyone.

Great weekend away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kim’s property. The house was easy to find, the check in process was seamlessly, and Kim was available if we had any questions. The little beach is a real treasure and the location is great to explore the local area. Also enjoyed the hot tub!

Great pit stop en route to St. Johns

High end home, kitchen well stocked, great hot tub and fire pit. Recommend Bare Mountain Cafe in Clarindale for lunch. Enjoyed a drive to Southport and the beautiful Hearts Ease Beach hike.

A Great Holiday Spot

We loved the area and the water falls were beautiful. I found the flooring was really noisy, creeping every time we walked around. The bed in the master bedroom was really rickety, maybe the springs were going or the slats were old. That’s about it, we had a great time, Thankyou

Great location for eastern and the avalon peninsula sightseeing!

Absolutely no problems with place! Beautiful home, quiet, great hottub and a bonus to have the lovely robes for the hot tub. You will not be disappointed by any thing with this rental. Better than what we thought!

Beautiful home and Friendly family

We had an awesome stay it was the center of everything the host and their family were very friendly and easy to talk to. The house had spices and herbs , coffee , sugar ,flour , ketchup , laundry detergent , bounce sheets etc it's definitely a must stay home when visiting the clarenville - st John's area ! We look forward to our next visit soon !

Gem in Deep Bight

Great house, great host, great view, great location. My wife and I had a wonderful vacation. The house was well appointed, with comfortable spaces to stretch out, and excellent mattresses for comfy sleeping. The water view, with the sound from its own backyard waterfall, made for a relaxing time (and we did not even use the available hot tub). The house is close to Clarenville, and we also took trips to Bonavista, St. John’s, and Terra Nova National Park. We highly recommend this house.

Paradise falls

Unfortunately the stay was too short. The house is beautiful especially enjoyed all the local pictures and attractions throughout the home. Close to beautiful hikes and you have your very own beach where we were lucky enough to see a whale take a few breaths before diving deep. Cory was an absolutely amazing host. 20 out of 10 recommend this place

Okay...at the risk of making it more difficult for us to make reservations for another stay, let me just say this...This place is BEAUTIFUL!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! ...and so is the host, Cory!!! IMMEDIATELY responded to any/all questions.This was our first experience with VRBO and what an experience it was!! The house was immaculate. Everything being on one level is an added bonus!The appliances we all high end, as was the furniture.The beds were probably the best we have ever slept on...certainly better than any hotel we have stayed at!TONS of room...EVERYWHERE!!The cutest little beach and the waterfalls!! It was so relaxing to get up in the morning and enjoy our coffee on the back porch while watching the sunrise and listen to the waterfalls!!! ...and the patio was the perfect size to do yoga or to sit out with family....and imagine our surprise when we discovered a FULL array of herbs/spices in the racks on BOTH sides of the stove!! This place also had an impressive line-up of small appliances, INCLUDING a blender, a slow cooker, a toaster oven, vacuum cleaner, electric hot water pot and something that looked like an ice cream maker...not sure as we didn't take it out. We ALL cannot wait to plan our next trip just so we can stay here!!! Definitely recommend staying here and rate this place 5/5 stars!!!

5-star property but it really deserves more! Beautiful location… sooo beautiful. The photos on the listing are very accurate but you’ll see that, in person, it’s even better!! Next to an amazing waterfall and right beside the beach. Tip - Walk down the small path to the river that feeds the waterfall. A-maze-ing!House was perfectly clean, huge rooms, and all the amenities you could ever need. It feels like you’re coming home, from the moment you walk through the door. Back patio was excellent for entertaining and the hot tub was a nice luxury in the such a rustic area of Canada. Water pressure for showers was great, and the beds, ohhhhh, the beds were SO comfortable. The framed photos on the walls showing local destinations were so great. We used these as guides for our destinations each day!I only have super positive things to say about this property. Really. It’s one of a kind. If I have the option, I won’t book anywhere else next time we come back. ** side note that didn’t make the property any less amazing at all — there is a small stereo in the kitchen for music. Radio stations are limited and it takes CD’s but we didn’t bring any. Such a small callout but may be important to travelers.
