The Space:

Saddle Country Escape by Tiny Away is a secluded farm stay located in Tyaak, close to Stevenson Falls, Kinglake National Park, and a short drive from nearby towns of Broadford and Seymour. This 157-square-foot off-grid pet-friendly tiny home features a well-equipped kitchenette with cooking tools, cutlery, a pot-bellied stove, and a portable electric cooler fridge.



A queen-sized bed is located in the loft, while a comfortable couch sits on the ground floor, along with an excellent bathroom. The bathroom features an eco-friendly compost toilet, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.



A GENTLE REMINDER: Our farm stay runs on solar energy, so we kindly ask guests to conserve power during the day. You may also encounter other guests on the property, including those staying in the nearby barn loft, and there may be occasional noise from nearby animals.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the tiny home and the surrounding areas, except the land host's private residence and barn.



Preorders available with 24 hrs notice:



- A swimming pool is available; certain policies may apply.

- Guests may bring a horse for an additional fee of $20 per night, plus a daily insurance fee.



NOTICE TO ALL GUESTS: There is no microwave. Kindly bring meals that can be easily prepared on the stovetop—avoid frozen or microwave-only items.

Saddle Country Escape by Tiny Away is located near Broadford, a historic town in Victoria known for its gold mining heritage dating back to 1852. Surrounded by rolling hills and natural landscapes, this pet-friendly farm stay is close to attractions like Mount Disappointment State Forest, Stevenson Falls, Snobs Creek Falls, Kinglake National Park, and Tallarook State Forest, offering scenic walks, hiking, picnics, camping, and outdoor adventures.



For dining and shopping, nearby Seymour, Broadford, and Kilmore offer cafés, restaurants, takeaway options, and essential supplies from Broadford IGA, Coles Kilmore, and Aldi Kilmore. Don’t miss the Broadford Market, held on the first Sunday of each month, showcasing local produce, crafts, and community favourites.

Other Things to Note:

- No wifi

- Solar-powered / Off-grid unit

- Mobile reception is good for Telstra

- No smoking allowed on the property

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.

- Extra firewood can be collected for free on the property or purchased at nearby petrol stations. Fire starters will be provided for each stay.

- Bring portable power banks in case of low power

- Please take note that outdoor fire pits are not available during the fire season

- Please charge your phone and electronics in advance in case of low-light days



Important note:



- No BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our compost toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
