Why they chose this property
A home away from home for your family, friends, kids and fur babies! This 4-bedroom 4 season cottage is where you will make the most amazing memories with your family. There is so much to do and explore in the Loring-Restoule area including fishing, boat tours, camp fires, our glamping tent with a king bed and more! Parking fits up to 6 vehicles plus any boats or snowmobiles you want to bring. Our yard is fully fenced in and we also have an outdoor dog run.
As you enter the home you will see a cute front deck where you can sip your morning coffee or tea (both provided). When you enter the home, the kitchen is spacious, modern and stocked with everything you need to cook meals. The dinning room seats 6 with room to spare, or enjoy your meals out in the backyard on the patio and screened in deck. Make sure to checkout our beverage cart, help yourself to some tea or coffee!
The first living room you walk into is the “Game Room” it has board games, a tv - feel free to watch Netflix, papasan chairs, a projector and screen, and lots of things for kids or the whole family to enjoy! The second living room has coastal vibes, comfy couches and a gorgeous bay window as well as an entertainment unit and tv with Netflix.
As you head upstairs you will see the gorgeous bathroom with a shower/tub combo and modern features. There are 4 cozy bedrooms to choose from.
We have a screened in deck for those buggy days. You are also able to use the BBQ to grill up some dinner while the family plays with all of the outdoor games that are available - outdoor games, baseballs gloves, kiddie pool, tennis rackets and more. There is a large rustic shed where you can store any of your fishing gear or snowmobiles. Make sure to test out our projector and screen outside and watch a movie while having a fire and roasting marsh mellows (we have cables for android and apple)! We have a massive luxury canvas tent has a king mattress inside for anyone that wants to go “Glamping” under the stars.

What makes this property unique
Port Loring is cottage country paradise! The locals are super friendly. Everything is in walking distance from the house! Beach, boat launch and dock (contact Buchanan Enterprise) access are all a short 1 minute walk!
The beach area is in front of The Port Shores. There is also a Government Dock to the left of the beach for diving off of or jumping into the water with ladder access. In the same area you will find a boat launch as well, feel free to bring your own boat as there are seasonal and weekly docking rates, or feel free to park on our property.
• You have Jake’s Place or Roxie’s if you feel grabbing a bite to eat and not cooking.
• The Port Shores is a 1 minute walk from the house and offers historical boat tours, guided nature hikes, a gift shop, specialty coffee shop, homemade baked goods, and a snack bar (they are seasonal, open May-October).
• If you enjoy golfing, checkout Northern Palms golf course and have a few drinks while you are there!
• The LCBO is about a minute walk from the house.
• Gomes Bait and tackle shop is just down the street from us and so is Home Hardware where you can rent kayaks.
• Jake’s Place and Ace’s Hardware are great ice cream spots.
• Make sure to check out Helene’s Antiques and Trash and Treasure
• Larger grocery shopping can be found about an hour away in North Bay or in Sunridge, for something smaller and local checkout Ruperts Variety
The winter time is incredibly popular here in Port Loring. We are on Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (District 11 area route map) trails that are groomed and over 240km long. Make sure to message us about our special Winter Rates!
You can enjoy ice skating on several of the local lakes and ponds as well as tons of great sledding. People travel from all over for the Ice Fishing that Port Loring offers! Wilson Lake is a very popular Ice Fishing location.
