About this property
Beach & Trees, beachfront Siesta Park
Summary: This charming country coastal four bedroom home is tucked among the peppi trees in the sleepy beachside enclave Siesta Park. Enjoy the perfect South West holiday just a few steps from a secluded beach on the edge of the pristine waters of Geographe Bay.
The Space: If you are looking for a weekend away or a week's holiday with two families, this house is perfect for your stay. This single storey home has been furnished with comfort and space as priorities, meaning a relaxing break for everyone. With two lounge areas, a games room and a large back yard, it is easy to spend quality time together or enjoy some more secluded downtime. Add to this that you are only 50 metres from the beach itself and you have the perfect holiday location!
The four bedrooms are simply furnished in a laid-back, beachy style. The master has a king bed with a walk-in robe and en suite (shower, vanity & WC). There is also a small bed in this room that can be made up for a toddler upon request - it is not suitable for bigger kids or adults. A second queen room and two twin (single) rooms are located slightly away from the master, making the latter a nice option for someone wanting a little more space on your trip away. The main bathroom has a bath, shower and vanity, and the WC is separate, located just off the laundry. Perfect for those staying a little longer or making a pit stop after time on the road, the laundry has a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities.
The fully equipped kitchen is located alongside the dining area, lounge and games room, making up a family room perfect for spending quality time together. However, a separate lounge at the entrance of the house makes arguments over the remote a thing of the past, as both areas have a TV with smart capabilities (one smart TV, one with chromecast). The kitchen is kitted out with an electric oven, ceramic cook top, fridge/freezer, microwave, walk-in pantry and dishwasher, making home cooking a breeze. The games area with a pool table is the perfect gathering place for an after dinner tournament and chat, with added seating for spectators (or a rest between shots!) and the sliding doors here open onto the outdoor entertaining area, meaning you can take a rest and enjoy some drinks and nibbles in between rounds. This open plan area also has reverse cycle air conditioning for your comfort in all seasons, with pedestal fans provided for use in other areas as required.
The outdoor space features a generous outdoor patio area complete with a new gas barbecue, and a beautiful leafy back yard with plenty of shade thanks to the surrounding native plants. You will love relaxing here, enjoying the sights and sounds of wildlife in the garden, plus the added bonus of a tree swing for the kids. You may even spot a ringtail possum (night time) or quenda (daytime) if you are lucky.

Guest Access: The whole house is exclusively guest access. This home is located on an open block - we request that guests please remain on the property, and do not enter neighbouring property grounds at any time.
The Neighborhood: Located just 2.5 hours away from Perth, and within easy driving distance from popular hotspots Dunsborough (15 minutes), Yallingup (20 minutes) and Margaret River (30 minutes), this is the perfect base to explore everything our region has to offer. The best news? You don't have to visit Margaret River township to enjoy some of the most famous and world class wine, as there are dozens of cellar doors to choose from all the way down the Cape. The nearest cellar doors to Siesta Park are within a 10 minute drive (Flametree, Lentedal, Palmer and Blind Corner), and there are numerous local operators offering winery and brewery bus tours. For the beer lovers out there, nearby Busselton is home to two fantastic tap rooms - Rocky Ridge and Shelter Brewing Co.
Siesta Park is a sleepy beachfront enclave located in between Busselton and Dunsborough, on the beautiful shores of Geographe Bay. This hidden gem is known locally for its long white beaches and calm waters. Popular for crabbing, fishing, boating and beach walks or just chilling out away from the bustle of the two nearby towns. It is also the place to be for keen anglers when the snapper are running, as this is one of the few locations they can be caught from the beach. A delightful spot for a family holiday and the best location without the crowds.
It's not just about summer here, despite its popularity thanks to the glorious weather; all year round, even when we may be less blessed with warm days and sunny skies, visitors can enjoy hikes, biking, surfing, off-roading, horse riding, cave tours, water sports, fishing, wine and beer tasting, and generally eating and drinking one's way around the area! Visit in spring to catch the whale migration and wild flower season, or in autumn to enjoy quieter beaches and excellent surf.
Please see the Guidebook for our personal recommendations on where to eat, drink, shop and what to see & do in this fabulous region. This list is by no means exhaustive, however, so please get in touch if you need any pointers ahead of your stay.
The Margaret River Wine Region is one of the most prestigious winemaking areas in the world. Considered a “boutique” region, production is relatively small and quality-focused. The unique microclimates and fabulous soils here mean that producers are able to make some of the world’s best Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, along with a host of other single varietal and blend wines; most wineries will have a good selection of options, including various sparkling wines, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz if the flagship varieties aren’t your cup of tea. Many of these wineries are also home to phenomenal restaurants, and your dining options will range from full tasting menus to casual pizzas or grazing boards. If you have any particular restaurant on your wish list, we strongly recommend booking ahead all year round. In peak summer season (December-February), bookings are essential and may need to be made several weeks or months in advance. Please contact us directly if you would like tailored recommendations for your self-guided winery and/or brewery tour. If you have time, we highly recommend buying a ticket onto one of the many locally operated winery and brewery tour buses, for an unforgettable day out of excellent food and drink.
Getting Around: Visitors to the region will need a car to get around, as public transport infrastructure is practically non-existent in the region. Having a car means visitors can make the most of a visit to the South West, and experience the true diversity of this spectacular area.
This home is located in Siesta Park, a quiet beachfront enclave between Busselton and Dunsborough. There is a bike and footpath that runs along the shoreline, to Busselton in one direction, and to Dunsborough in the other. Guests can bring bikes and scooters, or hire these locally - some local hire companies will deliver the bikes to your accommodation. Busselton and Dunsborough are also part of an e-scooter initiative.
The closest amenities are located at Vibe Siesta Park, the service station at one end of Siesta Park Road. There are a few basic groceries available here, and they provide great fresh food, coffees and juices for your morning or lunchtime fix. Guests will need a car or bike to get to the bigger shops, with the nearest supermarket located at Vasse Village (Coles). This area is also home to some lovely local restaurants, boutiques and a great bakery, so it is well worth a visit beyond grabbing your groceries.

Please note that the small bed in the master bedroom is only suitable for very small children. It has a simple foam mattress that will make it uncomfortable for adults or children to sleep on. This will only be made up as a bed upon request.

Plenty of room for our family of 5 adults. We were there during winter and the house was well heated. It was a good base for our day trips. A bonus was possum spotting in the surrounding peppermint trees in the evening.
Loved the setting with all the trees and garden around the house. Very easy access to the beach. The house itself is very comfortable with big living areas and a great bbq area.
We stayed here for a weekend with family, the location and property are excellent. A short walk to the beach and close to Busselton and Dunsborough if you want to go to restaurants and other venues etc. The house is clean, tidy and nice and secluded and very roomy. We will be coming back.
We loved the house, it was great for 2 families with small kids. We did have issues with the hot water in the mornings, but we reached out and were told to leave the booster on, which was successful. A great location directly opposite the beach and a quick drive to shops wineries etc.
Had a wonderful weekend at this property. Great location between Busselton and Dunsborough. 2 min walk to beach across the road. Generously stocked bathrooms and kitchen. Pool table and plenty of board games. Easy to self cater meals. Full fridge plus a bar fridge for drinks. Would have no hesitation in booking this property again
the location and the property were fantastic. the house was clean and had everything you need. A couple of living space allowed everyone to have space if they needed it. We were looking forward to a game of pool but found the table wasn't level and after a couple of attempts we lost interest. this was the only criticism. Fantastic to have the bay just over the road. Thank you
Everything was great except for,
Dirty sheet on one of the single beds.
Kettle needs replacing, burnt fingers on handle from steam leak.
No dish washing machine detergent on arrive - Stayz did sort this out very quickly though.

Hi Wayne, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I apologise for the issues you experienced with the single bed and kettle. If you had notified us of these issues, we would have resolved them for you immediately. Please remember that you are dealing with a small, local company, not Stayz. I delivered dishwasher tablets to you within 30 minutes of receiving your message about them being missing, as unfortunately, our cleaner must have forgotten to put them out for you - a human mistake I am sure you can appreciate does happen from time-to-time. I hope you feel able to reach out to your hosts and report issues in the future, so they do not have such a negative impact on your stay and their review score.
The house was in a quiet secluded area, with a beautiful beach across the road. Images are as the house is which is great!
Loved the property and the weekend stay

Hi Taylor, thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay. I know that you have already spoken with the owners about some issues you experienced during your stay, but I just wanted to let you know on behalf of the owners that the house is now under new management. We hope you will consider staying again so we can deliver you a 5 star experience instead! All the best, Ali
This was our second stay at the Siesta Park house and we all absolutely loved it just as much as the first time.
Such a great location. With toddlers it is so good not having to get in the car to go to the beach. You just walk across the road.
My only criticism would be the mattresses, especially in the main bedroom. Much to soft and you tend to roll into the middle.
Overall, the place is fantastic. A truely great family holiday
Lovely spacious house. Very comfortable. Wonderful gardens and across quiet rd to beach.
Lovely community feel in the neighbourhood. We enjoyed the Siesta Park Competition with the neighbours.
We came here on our yearly family getaway and it was a perfect hidden gem.
A few steps away from a quiet beach, 10 minutes to the heart of Busselton and 10 the other way to Dunsborough.
Loved the open living, pool table and big dining table. So much room for us to all hang out centrally.
Aweosme stay, will book again!
Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. Having not stayed in the area before we didn't know what to expect. We were very happy with the location across the road from a lovely beach. So quiet which was exactly what we needed. Pool table was fun and communication with the property manager Leanne was quick, friendly and efficient.
The property had everything we needed for our stay, we would stay again.
We loved our stay- the home was spacious and clean and the location perfect. The beach over the road is so divine- flat and clear- perfect for young children. Kitchen well equipped... only wish linen was included in booking price :) We had a very relaxing time and would happily stay again!

Thank you Sarah for your lovely review and for telling everyone just how wonderful that beach is. We love it! If we included linen in the price we would have to increase the price of the house to cover linen hire for 8 people, and then the price would not be attractive to smaller bookings like yours (which was two adults and two children). In addition some people prefer to bring their own linen. We want to make this house available to both large and small group bookings. We are very pleased you had such a great time and look forward to your next booking. Warm regards, Leanne
On arrival the property was clean. Everything you need is here kitchen was well equipped lots of fridge room. The garden is beautiful lots of shade seating outside. We had nothing to complain about very happy with the home. Beach was beautiful, only negative was I wish the local council would clean up the bins at Siesta Park recreation they were overflowing.

Had the best holiday. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. Having the beach over the road, being nestled in the garden and being close to busselton was awesome. We even extended our stay by 2 days as we loved the place so much.
The house was great, on a peaceful quiet road. clean tidy and very well equipped. lots of useful utensils and equipment in the kitchen. Gardens are lovely and lush. Great crop of agapanthus just about to bloom. Nice beach literally just across the road. 5 minute drive to Coles for shopping. 15 minutes to Dunsborough, lots of restaurants and things to do close by. Great location. House one of the best available on that street.

Our grooms party and partner stayed here the night before the wedding. They loved the house, chilled and played some pool. They loved that the beach was right there.
The property manager was lovely and responsive to any queries I had. We would definitly recommend this place to our friends or for future stays.

About the host
Hosted by South West Holiday Properties
I have lived in the South West of Western Australia for 30 years and fondly call it home. I love that there is always a sheltered beach within a 15 min drive ( if the one on your doorstep is a bit windy!), open spaces and National Parks, magnificent wineries, and friendly people. It's a pleasure to share this place with travelling guests, and I hope they also enjoy what this spectacular corner of Australia has to offer.
