Ce chalet astucieux sculptĂ© Ă  la main possĂšde un intĂ©rieur charmant et de grandes fenĂȘtres encadrant une vue panoramique sur la montagne Lookout. À l'intĂ©rieur, vous trouverez des plafonds en bois, un immense mur central en pierre, une cuisine complĂšte et une salle de bains d'inspiration spa avec un Ă©vier en pierre et une grande douche en carrelage et en pierre. Un lit queen-size dans la chambre et un canapĂ©-lit queen-size dans le salon offrent un grand espace de couchage pour jusqu'Ă  quatre personnes. Dehors, il y a un bain Ă  remous, un foyer et des siĂšges extĂ©rieurs couverts oĂč vous pourrez vous dĂ©tendre et profiter du paysage.
Ici aussi, vous aurez le meilleur des deux mondes! Au chalet, vous serez nichĂ© dans un cadre calme et champĂȘtre tout en ayant un accĂšs facile Ă  tout ce que cette Mecque pour les amateurs de plein air offre. We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was very clean, and the view was beautiful. While this place is secluded and quiet, it's not as private as the listing seems. there are 3 additional units within a stone's throw of the the cabin, two of which are in direct view of the hot tub. Also, the grill didn't work while we were there, which was disappointing since we brought steaks to grill. Other than that, it's a really unique place and we enjoyed the experience.

Perfect getaway! The cottage is beautiful and so is the property. There was a small issue at check in but this host goes above and beyond, he was very responsive and fixed the issue immediately with no hesitation. Although the other cabin is close they are situated where you still feel a sense of privacy and seclusion. We hope to come back and visit again soon with our children.

Beautiful place to stay, very unique. Owners were very nice and seemed like hard working people; at the time they were building a new adobe inspired house and invited us to come look. Kitchen had full range of utensils as well as some pots and pans etc. The shower was very nice, matched the aesthetic and had good water pressure. The bed was firm. The viewing from up on the balcony roof (which has a rock couch and chair) was phenomenal. Only tested out the hot tub once, but worked well and was relaxing.

Very nice little place. Beautiful location. Very clean. Had no issues with anything. Hot tub was great! We stayed because it was close to Cloudland Canyon. Would stay again anytime.

July 4th getaway

Wanted a getaway weekend and stayed at Bedrock.Get place to unwind and relax.Beautiful and unique house.The rooftop is amazing and had the perfect view of fireworks!! I will definitely be back for a longer stay!!

Great stay. Close to all the activities that we wanted to do. (Ruby Falls, Rock City, Downtown Chattanooga etc) but an eclectic oasis to return to at the end of the day. Appreciated the full kitchen, hut tub and views from the roof.

Perfect Getaway

This house was exactly what we needed to getaway for a short family vacation. It was off the beaten path just enough to disconnect - but easy drive to any essentials. Rick was excellent with communication and made sure our stay was as good as possible. Although it rained everyday, we loved sitting on the rooftop to enjoy the scenery. We would definitely stay here again!

Cute house, love the location

We stayed here for a couple of nights while we were in the area to do some hiking at Cloudland Canyon. First, looove the location! It's not too far from everything but far enough to be very peaceful. Also loved the rooftop lounge- it was a great place to see the stars. Also loved seeing the hang gliders. House was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Host was very nice. I'd definitely stay here again! Thanks for a great stay!

Peaceful surroundings

We were down for a graduation and didn't get to spen much time at the cabin. What time we did was perfect. Explored the trails behind the cave, took a nap on the roof and hot tub dips as needed.

I moved to this area from Atlanta in 1995. I had been coming here to play (caving, hang gliding, mountain biking, rock climbing) since the early 80's and couldn't stand the two hour drive from Atlanta every weekend. Shortly after I moved here, I accidently started Liquid Landscapes Aquatic Design and began building waterfalls and ponds for a living. I also started playing guitar and later, mandolin and get to play with some fine musicians in the area. Bring your instruments or ask for loaners whiles you're here...

I bought this property because of the amazing view. Its beautiful and I still appreciate it EVERY day.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This is our first of two hand-carved, ruins style cottages. The other one, (The Cavern on The Green, vrbo#1298361) is next door. These cabins are in a private section of a 12 acre property. Both cabins are arranged to have outdoor private areas out of view. The land is at the foot of lookout Mountain and is a great venue for outdoor gatherings. We have a choice of bonfire spots and plenty of room. You'll need to contact us in advance for info on hosting a function here.
