The cottage is really lovely. A tranquil relaxing retreat that is comfy and cosy. Beautiful location that is quiet and peaceful with everything you could want close by. Beaches, bush walks, Flinders Village shops & cafes, wineries to name but a few. Our host Christine was very easy and pleasant to deal with. We will definitely be back!
This is our second stay at this lovely cottage. The location is beautiful and we love this cottage. It has everything you need/want for your stay. The amenities are second to none. It’s comfy and cosy and very peaceful and tranquil. The location is perfect, being a short trip away shopping, wineries, bush walking, art galleries and of course those incredible ocean beaches. Our host, Christine is a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be back again Thank you Christine.
This is our 3rd time staying at this lovely cottage. As always it was spotlessly clean, cozy, comfy and very tranquil with everything you could possibly want/need for your stay. Our host, Christine, keeps the property in tip top condition and is very easy and pleasant to deal with. With wineries, foodie venues, beaches, galleries etc all close by, the cottage is perfectly situated. Needless to say, we will definitely be back again. Thank you Christine for another lovely time away. Lindy & Ian
One of the most beautiful settings! Welcomed with a delicious bottle of red wine. Communication with Christine was excellent! Beds were super comfortable, linen was beautiful. Home was cosy with an eclectic layout. Just an issue with water pressure.

Hi Jen
So glad you enjoyed your stay but sorry to hear you had water pressure problems. We have emergency home assist and could have had a plumber here within an hour. I wish I had known there was an issue. Thanks for choosing our cottage.

Our romantic ANZAC Day weekend at Mornington Peninsula Retreat was truly memorable. A tree-lined driveway leads to a beautifully lit cottage and gardens, instantly creating an enchanting ambience. The restored barn exudes rustic country charm, featuring a potbelly fireplace, exposed timber beams and authentic horse-barn doors. Inside, modern comforts abound: a well-equipped kitchen, cosy living spaces and plush linens. On arrival, soft music played, lights were dimmed, and a complimentary bottle of wine awaited, demonstrating the host’s attention to detail. The location is superb - just minutes from acclaimed vineyards, restaurants, national parks and boutique shops, offering the very best of the Mornington Peninsula. Our host, Christine, provided clear and timely information via the booking portal, responding swiftly to all queries and adding a personal touch to our stay. Although our two-night visit offered a delightful taste of the retreat’s charm, it left us eager to return for a longer stay. We highly recommend Mornington Peninsula Retreat for couples seeking an unforgettable romantic escape.
