Humbugs Bay of Fires is a serene and beautifully appointed beachfront escape overlooking one of Tasmania’s most iconic beaches and seaside hamlets, Binalong Bay. Our beach home is a calming escape, perfectly suited for 2- 4 guests. It’s named after the Nature Reserve, “Humbug Point” that borders Binalong Bay.

Our lovingly renovated home is located directly opposite the beach and just a few doors from the restaurant in beautiful Binalong Bay with views up the Bay of Fires. With 2 bedrooms (King and Queen), both with their own ensuite bathrooms, and heating

Humbugs, Bay of Fires is perfect for 1- 2 couples. There are two beautiful bedrooms, both with their own ensuite bathrooms and heating, and separated to allow for privacy. The master King Bedroom has doors opening out onto its own patio, where you can gaze upon
the ocean views.

The spacious, open plan living, dining and kitchen areas open out onto two spacious decks, with expansive views of Binalong Bay Beach opposite. The living room has a wood burning fire, perfect for snuggling in front of in Winter and reverse cycle air conditioning for warm summer days. There is also a well equipped laundry/powder room as an additional convenience.

Holiday in Paradise

We just loved this property and location in Binalong Bay. We have already booked to return next year. This is really a 6 star property and staying here was an absolute pleasure. It has spoiled us for anywhere else on our current trip, because it was just perfect.

We were so happy with this space. Beautifully renovated with all the comforts of home. Stylish bathrooms, kitchen and very comfortable beds. Sensational views over Bingalong bay. Within a 4min walk to a children’s playground, walk across the road to the beach and almost next door to the only restaurant, cafe/bar in Bingalong Bay. We would definitely stay here again.

Stunning property with spectacular views of the bay

We were very happy with our stay Humbugs! To the point I didn’t want to leave. The property has been thoughtfully designed and appointed with everything you could need for your stay. I walked in the doors and immediately felt relaxed and at home. The views of the bay are second to none and can be taken advantage of from a number of vantage points inside and out. The drive in to St Helena’s for supplies is easy and enjoyable and is a great options for those wanting to cook in the fully equipped kitchen using local produce (which we did a couple of nights). I highly recommend staying in this property and would stay again if I was lucky enough to be back in the area.

What a luxurious renovated home! Beautiful and modern. Well stocked kitchen. The quality knives with self sharpening sleeves were a bonus. Plenty of room in the kitchen and a gorgeous living area. Great TV, and the windows are spectacular for the views. The deck has lots of different seating options and a nice grill. Quality linens, organic bath products, and even a heated towel rack. Tastefully decorated with a beachy vibe. So close to the beach that you can hear the waves at night. This is where you want to stay in the Bay of Fires.
