Graduation weekend

we stayed here as a family during graduation weekend. The house was great, clean and well stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our time at this vacation home. Owners were very responsive to questions and issues we encountered. It is a 5 minute drive to the lovely town of Home, 15 minutes to Cortland and 30 to Ithaca and Cornell. We explored the gorges in Cornell, visited Ithaca, dropped my son off to SUNY Cortland and came back to this quiet, cozy home nestled between a huge cornfield and Upper Little York Lake. Views were fantastic.

We had a great stay in Homer. The house had space for our family and the extra mattresses were great for the kiddos. The basement play area was so nice! A place for the kids to be loud and play while the adults visited. The dishwasher being broken was a bummer for our large group but we made the best of it with paper plates. The outdoor space was great with lots of room to run and play and the hot tub was a fun addition. It was a little buggy so bring bug spray! We would stay again!

Check-in was easy. Dishwasher was broken. Wi-fi was spotty. Unable to use hot tub and paddle boat until mid week. The swimming area shown is not there. The owners’ family were very nice and came to help fix the things that were unusable. Inside of house was very nice.

Fantastic house and experience

We loved this house so much! It had something for everyone. The hot tub and childrens play areas were ideal for out family. And the fenced in yard was sincerely appreciated. The house has everything we could possiby need!

Overall a nice house

nice stay but the bathrooms and kitchen appliances and utensils needed to be cleaned before use, they were not that bad but needed to be wiped down. Nice rooms and comfortable. Outdoor maintenance was not very good, we had to handle our own snow removal.

Christmas Family Gathering

Our family came in from Wellington, FL, Corvallis, OR, and Lexington, KY to spend Christmas with our good friends in Homer. The house was spacious and pet friendly (we had 2 dogs). Can see how this would be a fun spot in the summer!

Perfect location in a beautiful home

We had a family event in the area where we all traveled from afar to get to. Needing a location that provided room for all of us in a setting conducive to adults AND children, we found this absolutely perfect home on the lake. It could not have been better. The house was clean and felt like”home” from the minute we walked in. The outdoor space was perfect and the bonus playroom for the kids was a dream come true. Everyone had plenty of space. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. We enjoyed ourselves around the fire pit one evening and made many lasting memories. Thank you so much to our hosts for sharing this beautiful home.

Lake Front Treasure

We had a marvelous experience. Enjoyed all the toys for our granddaughter to play with. Contact was great on getting us the a/c that we needed, as it is so unusual to be 90 degrees in Homer.

Beautiful home set on a lake, surrounded by mountains and charm. Enjoyed the beautiful landscaping, the open concept home, fully equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms, elegant bathrooms. My Guests and I Loved this House!!!

My son lives near Homer, New York, and I wanted have a surprise birthday party for him with family and a few close friends. One of my guests found this house and I immediately liked it! The master bedroom is very pretty with a gorgeous en suite bathroom. The other bedrooms were also nicely decorated and everyone was happy with their beds. The kitchen has nice appliances, a granite topped island as well as a wood counter and plenty of pots, pans, dishes and silverware were provided. The hot water is actually hot!There is a fence surrounding the backyard; a swing set which the little ones enjoyed and a nice hot tub, which was clean. Everyone enjoyed sitting on the back patio with the view of the lake. The owner was helpful and answered any questions we had. Next time we visit, we all hope this house is available!

The property and home are beautiful. Lauren is wonderful. Downfalls: no washclothes, too much glass on shelves where little hands can grab, no instructions left for heat (major for those of us from the south) and someone should really clean under the couch cushions. The master closet could be straightened up/organized so someone may be able to hang some clothes up in it.

Too hot!!!

Indoors was clean and comfy, ...until the 2 upstairs floor ac units could not keep up with the Jun2025 summer heat. It was suffocating most the week we were there, but there were too many of us to move, so we left the house as much as we could, and sweat/cold-showers at night. This was too bad, because we really wanted to relax together as we don't get to see each other easily, and going out everyday was much more expensive for the budget. The outdoors front stoop, and back furniture too, were way too dirty, like they hadnt been wiped for months; so I had to spend some hours cleaning these for my guests. The kayak and paddleboat were fun, after I spent another hour cleaning them. Otherwise, the location and home itself were great. :/

Was happy with the stay, they just need to address a few issues.

Was disappointed no tv in master bedroom. The bathrohhhom mirror was setting on the sink, could not use thr outlets with out moving the mirror, it should be mounted on the wall. Other than that are stay was fine.

Beautiful Lakeside Location

Absolutely beautiful area in the mountains on a beautiful lake. We were able to visit multiple breweries within 45 minutes and they were all great, downtown Ithaca and Cornell were beautiful. We made it to multiple waterfalls. The owners of the home were excellent. In constant contact on our way there and as we were arriving. Inside the home is cozy and comfortable. The master sweet was amazing. All the other rooms were of great size and everything was there that was needed for cooking and relaxing. The hot tub was awesome outside. LED lighting, Bluetooth music and sat 5 comfortably. Hoping to return again when there is snow on the ground. Thank you for the amazing stay. Everyone loved it!
