My family’s stay was wonderful. Had relatives from the States who were very impressed by the property, the beauty of the gardens and Coles Bay. This is the second property we have stayed at with this group and have been very happy and impressed by all aspects.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in
1 No internet. After contact with staff advised that property owners were aware of problem. Still not fixed when we left!! Could be false advertising!2 Barbecue area. No protection from weather (rain) for person cooking. Clear when we started, then poured down. Needs extra Lazerlight sheeting to extend out further. Very wet when we finished!!3 Check in time! Appreciate cleaning has to be done. Advised (via numerous phone calls to office) we could get in earlier if place cleaned. I know cleaning was done by 1.20pm. I was outside! All that was required was to allow entry to store foodstuff - milk, meat, etc. Had to keep it all in car for further 1 1/2 hours. To play golf would have had to pull out eskies (2), unload golf gear, then repack car. At the end of golf same thing!! Just can't understand reluctance to allow entry if place ready!!Otherwise, enjoyed stay.Jim.

Hi Jim,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review – we really appreciate your feedback.
Regarding the internet, we understand how important connectivity is and apologise for the inconvenience caused. We are actively working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
We also appreciate your suggestion about the barbecue area, and your comments will be passed along for consideration.
In relation to early check-in, we’re sorry for the frustration caused. While we do our best to accommodate early arrivals where possible, we do need to ensure the property is fully prepared for incoming guests. As such, early check-in cannot be guaranteed unless it has been confirmed through all channels of our team, and we encourage guests to plan their arrival accordingly.
Overall, we’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay, and we hope you had a wonderful time exploring the region.
Kind regards,
Wynonna and the Freycinet Holiday Houses Team
This property wasn’t what we expected based on the online post - it feels like two houses stuck together - would be a wonderful place for families to stay, a kids hide n seek heaven - but not a friends hang out delight. Felt old, pokey, and a bit odd. But it did have all the rooms and beds it promised !

Hi Kiri,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We’re sorry to hear that the property didn’t meet your expectations.
I hope you still had the chance to enjoy all that Freycinet has to offer! We hope to see you back again soon, having another wonderful holiday.
Kind Regards,

If you want space this is the house for it. It can easily accommodate two families or a large group of people. The back garden is beautiful, and all comforts are thought of and provided. Two separate kitchen makes it separate if you need it to be. People with food allergies will specially love this. Love the skylight in the bathroom. We were lucky to have a full moon one of the nights while in the spa.
The wooden décor make the place welcoming and warm. The upstair balcony is over the road which is not a busy road and you can see the ocean at the end of the road over the other houses.
We enjoyed over stay very much at this house.
Cons:
No smart Tv
No access to beach close by
Far from food shops – prepare by shopping groceries at Bicheno or the little shop near the only pub (Iluka tavern).
Pros:
Good stable internet & heating
Comfy bed
Good shower water pressure and temp controls
Good towels and soaps provided
Bin collection is done, guests do not need to take these out
Clearly labelled switches
Not noisy area at night or in the morning
