Welcome to Sunbound at Dolphin Point – the perfect place for your next group getaway.

This freshly renovated coastal beach house (completed in November 2022), is designed to bring together family and friends to enjoy each other’s company and the beautiful wonders of the south coast. Sunbound offers 5 bedrooms and suits up to 8 adults (maximum) and 10 children. Just some of the features you can expect:
• Large gourmet kitchen with all of the things you need to whip up a gourmet meal or to chat around the large island bench over a cheese platter
• 3 beautiful modern bathrooms
• Open plan living and dining with modern interiors
• Second living area equipped with smart TV and Nintendo Switch
• Large back deck with BBQ overlooking the big backyard and reserve where you might spot a kangaroo or two in the afternoon
• Lock up storage for boards and bikes
• Room to store a boat/trailer behind gates
• Full use of multiple card games, board games, table tennis table and lawn games (Finska, Kubb, Corn Hole, Croquet)

Based in Dolphin Point you are a few minutes walk away from Dolphin Point Inlet and Burrill Beach. The inlet is a the perfect place to relax by the water, jump on a SUP or kayak or ride with the tide. You also have Burrill Beach at the mouth, great surfing spots at Dolphin Point and a lake nearby for fishing or watersports. You are just a short drive to the holiday townships of Ulladulla, Mollymook and Milton where you will find cafés, shops, more beaches, wineries, wine bars and many more fun things to do.

This is a split level house and boasts the following configuration:

Great stay for family groups

Great space for family groups. The kitchen catered well to our large family group, and having enough space in the lounge room and dining table was great. Easy check in and Shawn was so helpful with local advice and flexible checkout time. We loved the lake for swimming and paddling with little kids and had a wonderful time snorkelling off the rocks. Great access to walks in the adjacent national park as well.

Our family of 13 (7 adults, 6 kids) stayed here for our parents 40th wedding anniversary and it was absolutely perfect! Kids room was a standout with the bunk beds & TV as well as the “games room” in the downstairs garage. Kitchen was well stocked of utensils, pots, pans etc and the rooms were well set out away from the common areas so no one’s sleep was ever disturbed. The fridge took some getting used to as it was a self opening fridge and it kept opening when the kids walked past. The bottom part of the freezer was on fridge and not freezer (which we didn’t realise until our iceblocks weren’t frozen) and the dishwasher was out of service due to previous guests but Shawn was very apologetic and offered extra tea-towels etc to compensate. Replies were super quick and there was no issue with whatever queries we had. Location is great, walking distance to the inlet and the park. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone with large families :)

Just perfect

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house offered a perfect mix of comfort and charm, making it an ideal getaway. We loved how peaceful and relaxing it was and an array of kangaroos out the back just toped it off. The bedrooms where conformable and well-equipped and the kids room worked a treat. The kitchen was stocked and all the appliances you will need. With just a short stroll to the inlet and beach and a 5 minute drive to the town center the location was perfect. Will definitely be coming back.

Special Anniversary

The venue was perfect for multi generations. Plenty of different spaces to play board games, read, chat, kick the footy or doze. Very clean and exactly as described. Shawn always responded to texts politely and professionally within the hour. Highly recommended.

What an amazing place to stay for a combined family getaway! We had a group of 4 families (8 adults and 10 kids between the ages of 5 and 11) and stayed for 4 nights over the Easter long weekend. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. There was ample space inside the house and the kitchen was massive and fully equipped. There was also plenty of room in the backyard for the kids to play. We even saw a group of kangaroos behind the fence! The beach is within walking distance though we had to drive as we had a lot of stuff to lug with us. The shops were about a 7 minute drive away. Shawn was a great host and very easy to contact. He was generous enough to offer a late checkout so that we could wait and avoid the Easter traffic back to Sydney. Highly recommended for a large group getaway. We would definitely stay here again!
