Spread over two levels. this beautifully appointed home has been furnished and fitted to the highest quality, and with your absolute comfort in mind.
Comprising of four generous bedrooms, (1 x Californian King, 2 x Queen, 1 x 2 singles) plus 2 fully equipped bathrooms plus a seperate toilet.
There is off street parking for 3 vehicles at the rear of the property, a real bonus this close to the city centre. (This area is covered by external CCTV cameras for your comfort and security)
Relax on a cool Dunedin evening in front of the logburner, and take in the breathtaking nightscape, or enjoy cooking and creating in the fully equipped kitchen for your group or family.
There is a large dining area complete with heatpump and second TV for the kids.
In the Summer you will just love the Sunny aspect of the living areas, as well as the upstairs conservatory.
This really is a home for all seasons, catering to the needs of couples, groups or families looking for a luxurious home away from home, close to the vibrant city hub that Dunedin has to offer.

Absolute perfect gem of a house and location for a Dunedin vacation. Beautiful accommodations and ambiance. Fiona & Phil are superb owners and ensured everything was perfect for us upon arrival. Personal touches, house functionality, and safety briefing were all greatly appreciated. Highly, highly, highly recommend this for anyone wanting to experience the best of Dunedin.

Special Touches

We found City Views to be a very comfortable, warm, home presented to a high standard, with attention to detail. We enjoyed meeting the friendly, helpful hosts. The property's proximity to the city centre was very convenient and the harbour view special. Several of our friends travel widely and were suitably impressed!

City view

The property has an amazing view and is in a great location to explore downtown Dunedin. We loved the luxurious extras such as local soaps, beautiful art pieces, and delicious coffee. We appreciated the hospitality of Fiona and Phillip as they were welcoming and provided tips on what to see in the area. We would highly recommend a stay here to others. Thank you!

Colgate games 2024

We greatly enjoyed our stay we had an active 3 days at the Colgate Games and found the home very clean, well appointed and handy to everything. Views great. Fiona and Phil great to communicate with and very accomodating. Highly recommend for a travelling family.

Perfect place to stay

Such a wonderful place to stay. Conveniently located, stunning views and they had thought of everything you might need for your stay. Fiona was a fantastic host and nothing was a problem. We originally had 8 adults staying but the baby sitter fell through and we needed to add our 2.5 year old granddaughter. The house is beautiful, clean and warm. I highly recommend this wonderful property in the heart of Dunedin. We will definitely book again.

Wonderful house and hosts

This was by far the nicest home we stayed in for our whole trip and perhaps even since we have been travelling with the kids! Fiona was an incredible host and she thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. If you are ever in Dunedin, this is the place to stay! Highly recommended! Thanks so much!!

Beyond Amazing!!

This property exceeded our expectations. The space was charming, with so many personal touches that made it feel like home away from home. The view took our breath away time after time. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms accommodated our group of 7 adults very well. The hosts welcomed us personally to show us the property and ensure that we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We appreciated all of the tips they gave us on the must sees and hidden gems around Dunedin.

5 STAR Accommodation, Feels Like a Home

Host made it so easy as arrival time changed a few times due to flight issues. The online photos are the MOST accurate view of accommodation I have see around the world!!! It's like a home with all the comforts, contemporary furnished with well equipped laundry & kitchen. Spacious living area and bedrooms that made it so easy to be there with several adults. The little extras in the home were thoughtful. Logs for the fire. Heaters and electric blankets... Thanks for the lollies....

Fantastic stay!

Our group was in town for the World Cup and needed a long-term place close to City Centre. Fiona and Phil’s lovely home was perfect. Roomy, with all the amenities we needed and fantastic location with amazing views. They were very quick to reply to questions and gave terrific recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. Definitely recommended.

So close to city centre

We had plenty of room for us all. The kids loved their “cubby house” bedroom…and they also took over the sunroom! We adults loved the fire…we’d recommend this great home for any families …Fiona & Phil are great hosts

We also love to travel when time allows, and look forward to hosting your group now that we are "Post Covid". We are committed to providing a superior visitor experience to our guests and make ourselves available throughout your stay for any assistance or help you may require.

City Views on Rattray is located extremely close to the city centre, within easy walking distance to Bars, restaurants, Speights ale house restaurant and Brewery tours, Dunedin Casino, and CBD shopping areas.
It is a large family home split over 2 levels, allowing views over the city centre, Otago harbour and the Peninsula.

It has the real bonus of having 3 off street carparks at rear of property, (A rarity this close to town). This area is covered by CCTV cameras for your peace of mind.
Fantastic woodburner in lounge area for those winter visits.
Super comfortable beds with extra blankets and linen if required, as well as plenty of wardrobe space and hangers available.
Fully equipped kitchen with all utensils provided to cater for your group or family needs.
