Overall a cozy place, comfortable beds and pillows. The host was receptive to questions before our stay and left a bag of snacks and bubbly juice as a welcome. It is an older building so we could hear the upstairs neighbors from time to time but generally it was quiet. When I read the place was newly renovated I was surprised that one of the bedroom doors didn’t close all the way and the bathroom door needed encouragement to close most of the way. The grouting on the bathroom floor was wearing away and was quite discoloured making me wonder if there might be a leak underneath the flooring. There were two new fans which helped keep us comfortable without AC in the unit. The kitchen provided all the necessary cooking equipment we needed for making meals. There were three stools for the breakfast nook and there were only three of us so that worked fine.
