Family Friendly Beautiful Lake Front Cottage

Welcome to our family and child friendly, three season waterfront cottage. Located on beautiful, pristine Dickey Lake. Perfect for summer,Spring and Fall getaways. This quiet, clear lake has excellent fishing, boating(boat launch on the lake) and swimming. Access water through a sandy walk or dock. Spend your days exploring the lake with 2 kayaks, paddle boat, stand up paddle board and a jumping water lily. Or relax around a campfire enjoying the breathtaking sunset views from the dock..

Please note that our cottage is on a quiet lake which is suited to couples and families looking for a family friendly summer getaway. No Parties.

June 21 - Sept 06 Cottage can be booked for 7 Night Minimum Stays - check In on Fridays
3 Night minimums at all other times.

The cottage has an open concept living, dining and kitchen with lake views. Kitchen is modern and well-equipped. Three bedrooms (Bed 1 double bed, Bed 2 double and single bed, Bed 3 double and single bed. One full bathroom with shower. This is a non-smoking home.

Located 15 minutes from the village of Coe Hill (Grocery store, LCBO, butcher shop, small shops)

Located 30 minutes from the town of Bancroft( Large grocery stores, banks, restaurants, Tim Hortons and all fast food shops)

This is a very nice, traditional Ontario family cottage. Comfortable and unpretentious. Fairly private from the neighbours. The lake was relatively quiet most of the time. The kitchen is well equipped - the coffee maker and well supplied Kurig machine were much appreciated. It was clean throughout, except for the ceiling fans. The small beach was good for toddlers while the rest of had a blast swimming off the dock and the swim raft. Had fun fishing off the dock. Older folks may find the walk up from the lake a bit steep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only downside was that the water is not drinkable and was not noted in the online listing. Fortunately bottled water was provided which was very important given the hot dry weather and our active group.

Everything was great at the cottage! Excellent location and lake was amazing. Kayaked every morning and enjoyed sitting by water relaxing. Loons visited most everyday. Would definitely go back. Best stocked cottage we have ever stayed at!

Stay on Dickey Lake

This is a lovely cottage. We were there for the 2nd year. I mainly want a cottage to swim but there are lots of water toys provided. We used them all! This year, on arrival, I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the property. When I contacted the host she immediately refunded my cleaning deposit and was very apologetic. Cleaner issues apparently. I was totally satisfied with her response. I will stay there again.

Great getaway

I stayed here for a week in July with my husband and parents. A lovely spot. The swimming was fabulous, and we loved paddling around the lake with the kayaks and paddleboard (there is also a pedal boat). The kitchen had everything we needed. The owner was easy to communicate with. A wonderful experience!

Great cottage!

Me, my siblings and friends had a great stay in this cottage for 4 nights and definitely had a blast. The cottage has all the equipments you need for a comfortable stay. They also provided firewoods for bonfires right beside the lake. Also, the lake has very clean water good for both swimming and fishing. Extra ameneties like paddle boat, kayaks, stand up board and water vests. The location is great for a quiet getaway and also provides great privacy.

Great cottage and lake

Beautiful cottage very well supplied. Swimming was perfect, the neighbors were friendly but not intrusive. We made full use of the kayaks, paddle boat, lily pad and SUP. Lots of fun. We had a few rainy days and played games that were supplied. Also nice to have a smart TV so we watched a bit of Netflix etc. Beds seemed new and were very comfortable. I need a hip replacement and was thankful I brought a walking stick to get up and down from the lake. We had a few fires in the fire pit and good wood was supplied. Wonderful! Drinking water was also supplied which was unexpected. The perfect cottage experience for my friends and family.

Place to Relax

We had an enjoyable stay at the cottage. The place was clean and well stocked with all the cooking essentials. We made good use of the paddle board and kayaks. The place was surprisingly quiet for a cottage lake. It was great to sit back and read a book down at the dock or chill out on the patio. Excellent fishing right off the dock. Thanks Gilda for a wonderful time!

Great weekend getaway

The perfect cottage experience! Booked this cottage for a weekend with some girlfriends and it made the perfect setting for a relaxing, fun time! The cottage is cozy and tidy with a stunning back yard view & path to the lake from the porch. We loved having coffee and looking out on the water every morning! The host had provided kayaks and paddle boat which my friends and I loved! The lake is gorgeous and clear, perfect for swimming! There are neighbours close by but the properties are separated with tree lines that provide a nice sense of some privacy. Host shared helpful info prior to the visit, and checking in/out was very easy. Overall it was a great weekend and I would happily book a stay here again!

Our family has been cottaging on Dickie Lake for 18 years. It's an absolutely beautiful, clear, clean lake. Excellent for swimming and fishing.

this is our family cottage. We use it for the majority of the summer and keep it in neat, clean condition. We have a jumping lily, 2 kayaks, a paddle boat and a paddle board. Our family enjoys all of these toys so I am sure your family will as well.
