Relax after a day of skiing or fishing or hiking in this beautiful cabin, sharing it in front of a wood-burning fireplace( wood for the first fire is on me! ) Enjoy the spectacular views of the Livingston range. This two bedroom one and a half bath has a full kitchen, allowing you to make your own meals.
Castle Mountain is 20 min away. Fernie Alpine Resort is about an hour. There are many great fishing lakes and river in the area that are world renowned! Hiking trails galore being so close to the park and forestry is just down the road.
Enjoy the 9 acres of private propertywith room to roam or walk your furry friends!

Host was attentive and welcoming. The place had everything we needed including a well supplied kitchen. Location has terrific view and is close to many great trails and things to do. Nice get away to tire a dog and people out!

Enjoyed our stay again!

This was our second time staying at Dennis's cabin. As before, the views, the quiet and the location can't be beat. And it's a great place to make yourself at home. Dennis was responsive when we had a couple of questions and the cabin had everything we needed. We'd be happy to stay again!

Stunning views

Beautiful Stay...with strings attached

Insanely beautiful view and Cabin/ChaletHowever pretty steep mark-up for extra people staying at the cabin. Had trouble getting in, Host uses a wireless locking system that did not connect with my Android phone. Also advertises having a wood burning stove but only leaves you with enough wood to have a single fire, seems cheap for the price you pay for the stay

Comfortable and relaxing

Close drive to Castle Mountain and great snowshoeing trails close by. Minutes from Beaver Mines grocery store, for anything you may of forgotten. Quite and great views from the house!

An amazing location located just off the main road for easy access. Quiet and secluded with spectacular views of the mountains and evening stars.

Nice cabin and location

Everything was excellent except for some small points. It's a very nice cabin in a beautiful spot. A little far from Castle Mountain Ski Resort. Being discouraged from adjusting the thermostat was annoying--the place was cool at times. Because of an allergy, I couldn't use the feather pillows and comforter. There were foam pillows, but a nice, non-feather comforter would have been welcome.

Excellent option for Castle Mountain

It's a great house, cozy and confortable for 6 or more. It has a firepit, fireplace, heater, etc. Lots of space and an excellent kitchen. The bedrooms are super confortable.

Our stay

If your looking for a place to just disconnect and look out your window and relax .. this is it .. it’s pretty secluded from people but at the same time 5 min drive into town .. word to the wise this is a windy area so just be aware dependant on the weather it can get strong but we knew this going in so was not a complaint just surprising one day. Great communication with Dennis with any questions Best part, our dog loved the multiple runs and walks on the wooded and open air areas on the property! We would love to stay here again with our dog

Wonderful Location

Gorgeous view from the cabin! We brought a telescope with us - there was minimal light pollution so we were able to see the stars and Saturn. The cabin had all the necessities - we didn't need to bring anything but our clothes and toiletries - and the communication with the owner was clear and timely. Check in and check out was smooth. We had a fabulous time and would definitely stay here again.

What a SPECTACULAR place!

We had the most magical honeymoon at this beautiful cabin! We needed a quiet place for a get away with our dog, that also had nearby fishing and this location did not disappoint. The views of the landscape alone are breathtaking, but the hospitality and amazing communication from the host Dennis makes this place our new favourite get away. He made sure we had everything we needed, including some good fly fishing spots :) - If you're looking for privacy, a perfect location for you and your loved ones (including the fur babies), somewhere close to hiking, fishing, waterfalls, amazing starry nights by the campfire and the best little mercantile store around - This is your place. We will 100% be renting here again. We had a spectacular time.

Fantastic place to disconnect and recharge

Dennis was a fantastic host, extremely communicative and great to deal with, and the house was great. We had a fantastic trip exploring the mountains and soaking in the incredible view from the deck. We’d stay again in a heart beat.
