Our guest house is a licensed and fully legal. We are exempt from the new rules recently introduced in British Columbia regulating Short Term Rentals. The guest house is an additional(separate) dwelling on our property. Rest assured when booking with us!


PRIVATE GUEST HOUSE!!
1 bed/ 1 bath. Newly built guest house. Not a basement suite, no one above or beside you! Completely separate house. We are happy to accommodate a maximum of 4 guests. Couples, families and those travelling for work that are looking for a clean, quiet and relaxing place to stay. The bedroom has a queen bed and there is a pull-out sofa bed in the living room. 1 full bathroom with deep soaker tub/shower combo. Gorgeous Venetian plaster touches throughout the Villa. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs with stainless steal appliances. There is a dedicated work space in the bedroom & a dresser/hangers in one of the two closets so you can unpack and get comfortable. You have your own private back patio area with outdoor seating for dining. There is also a washer/dryer & portable Air conditioning unit in the suite should you need during your stay. We look forward to hosting you! Located close to the Parkway in south Nanaimo for ease of travelling up or down the island. Just 10 minutes to the Airport, BC ferries, Hullo Ferries, VIU, Western Maritime Institute, and Downtown. One queen size bed in bedroom & pull-out sofa bed in the living room. Dedicated work space, private outdoor patio with outdoor dinning, washer/dryer in unit & Portable Air Conditioning. Grocery/ liquor, restaurants etc. Just 5 min drive. Beautiful hiking/biking trails close by & directly on bus route.

Villa in the Valley was perfect for our two-night stay. The villa was very comfortable, had everything we needed and is a short drive from downtown Nanaimo. Laura is an excellent host and provided very timely and informative check-in/check-out instructions.We would happily stay here again and have no reservations in recommending the villa as great couples accommodation in Nanaimo.

This quiet little guest house was the perfect spot for my newlywed wife and I to rleax and explore the island. Laura was a superb host and I would definitely stay here again!

I could not have asked for a better place to stay and recover. The facilities and location were pristine, and the owner was kind and compassionate. It would be the only Vrbo that I would stay in when I come over to the island. I hope that I would be welcomed back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa in the Valley. The property itself is awesome and very well stocked with most if not all you need. It is exceptionally clean and everything functions as it should. Easy access to anywhere you may want to head for on a day trip. The property itself is private and very quiet. The owners do not bother you but are easy to access if you need something. Highly recommended

Perfect for our stay in Nanaimo

The property was spotless and had everything a family of 3 needs. It was a perfect home base for us, close to family and the highway, and with a grocery store nearby. Its a quiet neighbourhood. The host was very responsive. After sleeping on the pullout for a week our daughter was ready to get back to her bed, but otherwise everything was excellent.

This was a really cute & cozy yet spacious suite! The decor was tasteful and we loved the concrete looking fireplace surround. They obviously put a lot of time into designing a great space! Laura clearly has a high standard of cleanliness as there was not a crumb in the cutlery drawer or a dust bunny. This was very important to me as we’ve had poor experiences in the past with other rentals. We were very pleased and would stay again!Thanks Laura

Absolutely what we needed and hoped it would be

My daughter and I stayed here for three nights when she competed at a sporting event in Nanaimo. The property is bright, clean and modern and provides absolute privacy from the main house on the property. The sofa bed was comfortable and completely separate from the well equipped main bedroom. I would absolutely book this stay again.

Quiet, cozy and lovely place to stay

My partner and I stayed for three nights, and we would love to come back and stay here again! The place was tucked away in a nice and quiet neighbourbood which made our stay even more relaxing. Though it's not in the heart of downtown, we still found it easy to get around and accessible to the restaurants and other amenities. The vrbo is also detached from the main property, making it more private. The place was very clean, well kempt and perfect size for a couple or a small family. We loved the spacious and equipped kitchen as well. Highly recommend!

Wonderful week at Villa in the Valley

My daughter and I spent a lovely week in Nanaimo, exploring Island attractions from this central location with easy access to the main highway. The Villa was extremely clean, well kept, and very well equipped for a long stay. It was very private and comfortable, with a separate parking spot and outdoor sitting area. Laura was responsive and accomodating. She made us feel welcome with many thoughtful details that were much appreciated. Thanks for the excellent hospitality! I highly recommmend Villa in the Valley for a couples or mother-daughter get-away.

Laura and her Husband were nothing but amazing. Our flight arrived late and Laura was very accommodating to a later check in. The decor was adorable and the layout was perfect.we were able to come and go as we pleased without worrying about disturbing anyone around us. Which was great because we had a wedding so we were in and out of the villa alot. We blew a breaker and in seconds of a message her husband was at the door to fix it. We will definitely be booking again when we come back to Nanaimo.

A perfect Nanaimo getaway!

A perfect place to stay, it has everything! Private, quiet, roomy and clean. We spent our mornings sipping coffee and enjoying the views and wildlife from the living room, we even got to watch a bald eagle fly by. The full kitchen was perfect for fixing breakfast, heating up leftovers and pouring glasses of local cider and wine. The bathtub is long and deep enough for us tall folk to enjoy a bath and the washer/drier were fantastic to have after hiking around the countryside. Bedroom is spacious and comfy. This was a great jumping off point for our V.I. activities, lots of local stuff to do and easy to head North, South or West. Laura was very communicative and kind, never intrusive. It was just the perfect combination for a great stay. Highly recommend!
