Great place and Great Host

The place was as advertised, and the host was very easy to work with. It is a little limited on kitchen utilities but what was present was sufficient to cook breakfast lunch and dinner. Thanks again for letting us stay.

Property was centerly located and comortable, it was listed with 2 king beds but only had 1, house was not stocked well, no dish soap, only used shampoo/soap in the bathrooms and only a small amount of toilet paper in thr home. House was overall clean and comfortable. Qiuet location. We had a great time

Girls trip

The house was very nice and Joe responded very quickly and was very accommodating. The house is located between 3 major roads for easy access to other areas of Calgary. The beds were very comfortable and each bedroom had either a king or queen bed which was very nice for a group of 11 ladies. Would have been nice if the kitchen was better equipped and more organized. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Stay clear of this property and any others listed with this host. It was falsely advertised as pictures and description did not accurately represent the property. The images were misleading and did not reflect the actual condition/appearance of the rental. It was dirty when we arrived. The bed sheets and towels were visibly dirty and appeared not to have been washed. The walls, cupboards, other surfaces, fridge, and freezer were visibly dirty with some spoiled food. There were even boogers on one of the walls. It appeared as though someone had just left with no or very minimal attention/cleaning. We have booked a number of VRBO rentals and have had many positive experiences. It's very clear that these conditions fall well below the standards VRBO sets for its hosts, as well as basic expectations for guest safety, hygiene, and comfort. The host has not responded to our concerns over and above a rude message stating "I told you I'm out of the country until Jan1" which we were not made aware of. We did not feel comfortable/safe staying there, had to find alternate accommodation and therefore requested a refund.We contacted VRBO support within the recommended 24 hrs. They initially told us a refund would be processed however retracted and reassured us that the host would be contacting us manage things. This has left us questioning whether we can trust VRBO with future bookings.
