Welcome to our lovely water front cottage in Muskoka, the perfect place for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway! This cozy cottage is fully equipped and provides everything you need to enjoy your stay, including a hot tub that overlooks the beautiful waterfront.

The cottage is ideal for families or groups of friends looking to spend some quality time together. With a dock, a small sandy entrance area, and a shallow soft river bottom, it's perfect for kids and adults alike to enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating. You can also take advantage of the provided canoe and pedal boat, or simply relax on the Muskoka chairs by the fire pit and enjoy the serene views of the surrounding forest.

Inside, the cottage is cozy and comfortable, with four bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room has a comfortable couch and chairs, as well as a TV and fireplace, perfect for relaxing on chilly evenings.

Located in the heart of Muskoka, there are plenty of activities to enjoy in the area. Within a 10-30 minute drive, you can play a round of golf at one of the nearby golf courses, try your luck at the Casino Rama, or experience an adrenaline rush at Horseshoe Adventure Park. Fishing charters are also available nearby, for those who enjoy spending time on the water.

Family Fun

We enjoyed "Take It Easy" cottage with our son and his young family. The river was a great swimming spot for our grandchildren and the adults enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We employed the canoe several times for early morning rides. The house was plenty big enough for all and well appointed. Only drawback was that the water was not potable so we had to purchase drinking water. Other than that, we would return without hesitation. Thank you for the lovely bottle of wine and welcome note Anton and Kristina.

Beautiful cottage

The cottage was beautiful inside with all the modern conveniences of a home. The area is simply beautiful. The dishwasher wasn't working for us. The water / river was full of weeds; when you swam the weeds were always touching your body. It was a bit gross. I should have asked about the swimming & weeds before booking. Had I known about the excessive weeds I would have booked elsewhere. We did see lots of wildlife including a baby otter and a water snake by the shoreline and we stumbled upon 2 garter snakes by the cottage.

Nice place to stay

Location was great as it was near the casino and local golf courses. Washago is close for groceries as well.Place was clean and well kept.

Great stay

Nice quaint place to relax and look out over the water. Also the grocery store nearby has a lot of clutch items in case you forget anything.

Nice and cizy cottage

Location is very accessible. Property was very clean and has almost all essentual househilds. Vuew is very nice. Host was easiy ti communicate with and respind on a timly manner. We will definitely come back.

Best cottage I've stayed in

I've done three cottage trips so far, always around the same time of year. We take a group of 10/12 people and just hang out and spend time together. This was the best cottage we've ever rented

A nice 3-generation getaway at this beautiful cottage

When we entered this cottage, the first look was impressive, with a cottage decor and filled with supplies. The girls particularly loved their loft bedroom. The river was peaceful , making it perfect for stand-up paddle boards that we brought. The canoe provided, the hot tub and the sauna were well used by us. Antone responded promotly when we contacted him. The cleaner apparently did not leave enough compstable bags and hand soap. Antone asked us to purchased the supplies from a local store and he reimbursed us. There was one pen in a drawer not cleaned, but the rest was good. We had good times roasting marshmellows over the firepit. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay there. Thank you, Antone. we too

Great time with our friend reunion!

Very convenient location to get to from the GTA, we had friends coming from different parts of Ontario and all were able to access the location easily. Great outdoor space for a variety of activities like lawn games, laying on the dock, sauna and hottub were great as well. The living room space was smaller than anticipated so we did not use it at all as a larger group. In the summer however this was not a big deal as we spent 90% of our time outside.

Fun and Relaxing Stay

As a party of 12 we found this cottage comfortable and relaxing. The place is organized and everything is easy to use and access, including the hot tub, canoe and paddle boat. Anton's check in process was very clear and he remained communicative throughout our stay, even though he was on vacation. The only downside was that the property was in very close proximity to other cottages. Overall great stay and would consider staying again!

5 day stay

Location is great, only a few minutes from town, we were there Sunday to Friday and the river was very quiet, might be different on a weekend. We didn’t use the loft as our grandkids were too young but am sure kids over 8 would love it, the stairs are steep. Anton was very quick to respond when we had questions which were addressed in the welcome package but we had missed reading! Kitchen very well stocked and high end appliances. We did have to buy compost bags and toilet paper as we ran out but am sure if we had called Anton he would have brought more. There were 6 adults and 3 young children and there was no problem with seats both in and outside. The mattress in one room had very little support so when one couple had to leave a day early our daughter and son in law changed rooms which was somewhat better. There is only one canoe paddle, the other is a kayak paddle so we did bring an extra with us. River is very clear and shallow at edges, perfect for the little ones. All in all we were not disappointed and enjoyed our stay and would visit the area again.

Nice, Cozy and Expensive Cottage On a River

We had a pleasant stay at the Waterfront Family Cottage. Rented for 5 days for 7 adults, the cottage boasts some great amenities including the paddle boat (which needs minor repairs), canoe (with only one actual canoe paddle and one kayak paddle), small dock, fire pit, water toys, and of course hot tub. Inside, the space is definitely cozy. Photos made the place look much bigger than in real life. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the tools you need and plenty of storage space. (Watch the fridge door. It needs a good push to stay closed.) Outside table and chairs situated too far from the cottage to be used. The master bedroom seemed to be the only comfortable bed in the cottage, meaning 5 adults slept very poorly which was a real disappointment. While this was out of the Owners control, there was also construction on another cottage just down from us that caused major noise pollution to what should have been a tranquil and peaceful environment. When mentioned to the owner, there wasn’t even an acknowledgement or empathetic response. Also, there is a train that runs by, adding to the noise factor. It should be mentioned the cottage is on a river. The water is very shallow. While a small area has been sanded right at the edge of the cottage (really nice), expect lots of lake herbage by the end of the dock and no jumping in given the depth. Water is nice and clear. Overall, we had a nice stay but I’m not sure the price tag reflected the overall quality.

Overall great stay

Overall the place is really great! Loved the kitchen, dining, and living room areas. Lots of dishes in the kitchen. And the outside area is amazing. Very clean and well cared for space (indoors and outdoors).

Great property for larger groups

Stayed here with extended family for a few nights and it provided everything we needed. Several rooms/beds and a large kitchen/dining area for preparing and eating meals. Two bathrooms and laundry on-site was convenient. Hot Tub worked as expected and the included Canoe and Paddle Boat were enjoyed with immediate access to the water on the property.
