We had a great time. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend 3 nights in Hana. The description was accurate, and the home had everything we needed.
When we walked in we all said it’s even nicer than in the pictures! It was sooooo perfect for 3 couples! We loved the location and the balcony and the bbq and we would absolutely book it again in a heartbeat!
Well situated close to local food trucks and general store. The unit had all the amenities for cooking and chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Excellent balcony with ocean views and parking for two cars.
Our family LOVED this property! It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed! We loved the yard, porches and outdoor shower! Will stay here again!
This was our first time making it out to Hana to stay for a couple of nights and I wish we had had more time there. The house was perfect for our group of six. We really appreciated that they had six beach chairs, two umbrellas & plenty of towels. The outside shower was a real help in making sure sand didn’t make its way into the units. I highly recommend this property
We had a great time here. The house was just the right size for our 2 families including a 5 year old. Well provisioned and a great location for exploring Hana and the whole area. Thank you!
Stayed here 2 nights, was super comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a 1 year old along and it was great to have a baby gate and high chair and crib. Loved the lanai and could hear the surf and the view was actually better than I thought it would be. Loved having the suite downstairs. Definitely would stay again!
Well provisioned -
Pleasantly clean -
Seemed recently upgraded - fresh!!
Family B-BQ back porch get together space -
Out door -back of house -after beach rinse off shower .
Great comfortable place within very comfortable walking distance of some fantastic sights and a ahort drive from even better sights - spme.of the best we've seen.
Property is spacious and private. - especially if you rent the upper and lower units for one larger group of 6 to 8.
House was clean and well stocked with dishes, cooking supplies, towels and cleaning products as well as beach supplies. Beds were comfortable. Having washer & driers onsite was beneficial. Several tv remotes did not work and BBQ’s needed repair and cleaning, only the upstairs electric grill worked after cleaning and plugging into indoor electrical outlet. Otherwise it was a great value and excellent location.

Everything was great with one exception: the outside waste bins were full to overflowing.
Great place for a Family to stay Hana! We loved it!!
We have a family of 6 with four kids 18-10. It was a great place for our family. My wife and I stayed upstairs with our son and the girls slept downstairs. We loved eating on the deck and the kitchen was well equipped. The last day we went to the beach and enjoyed using the beach equipment the owner was super nice and very responsive. My daughter left our GoPro and she mailed it back to us. The blender broke during our stay and she brought a replacement for our cocktails! Definitely recommend this place to any families planning a stay in Hana.
Very nice, fit all our needs. I rented first and second floor for my family of 7. We stayed two nights and had full meals cooked each night so the kitchens were totally used. The sleeping areas and having two bathrooms was very nice to have. Stayed up late both nights just talking story. Very close to Hana Bay where we spent one entire day. Not very far from all the places we visited, including ohana that lived in Hana. Will return again. Maybe next year?
It was lovely to stay in Hana and not have to rush through the journey. House was warm, as expected, but AC in the bedrooms was awesome. More bugs on this side of the island, but again it's a jungle so totally expected. We brought groceries as we knew there wasn't much in town. Well stocked with soap and shampoo. I was surprised that there wasn't a place for recycling, maybe that's just not available in town.
The downstairs and upstairs accomodated our family of 5. The beds were comfortable. We mostly used the upstairs kitchen and it was well stocked. The lanai and balcony were breezy and we ate most dinners outside. Enjoyable holiday stay with visits from our Hana family. Two things that could be improved: toilet seat in downstairs bathroom was not attached. The railing on the stairs was on wrong side. Please put up another railing. Stairs had a lip on them. This was very difficult and dangerous for two people in group with bad knees.

Convenient but not clean
The property is conveniently located but is not clean. The windows in the kitchen, bedrooms, patio are extremely dirty. Moreover property mentioned AC, but ac was present only in two bedrooms, but no air conditioning on the 1st floor with main bedroo

Nice
The decks and lanai should be hosed down. Base boards and windows cleaned. Better cooking pans. I wasted some food because of one of the pans. Phone number left for manager not avail. The closet downstairs that is locked. Not for guests. The light was on the whole time. I tried emailing because I could not get the manager’s number. No response. I put a pillow over the door at the bottom so I could sleep. The stay was awesome great location. Comfortable. I’m not sure if I ever received the local discount. That was confusing.
I would stay again tho. Overall comfortable and great location. Thank you Valerie Dunne
The house is in a great spot and we loved the upstairs lanai, we had a beautiful double rainbow on the morning of our departure. The downstairs bbq deck is also nice and we used the lawn for playing bocce. It was also nice to have chairs for the beach. There are some things that could be better, though. We arrived on a hot afternoon and the lack of AC in the main living area was made more noticable by the house being closed up and stifling. The AC in one bedroom did not work and I received no response at all when I reached out to the property manager. Some windows and screens were very dirty, though I realize this is a rainforest and must be difficult to fend off the effects of the elements. The inside could also use some deep cleaning (doors, sills, baseboards). I misinterpreted the statement "fully equipped kitchen". I expected some cooking supplies like a few spices and maybe cooking oil. There was only to-go salt and pepper shakers. We also had a bit of confusion finding which door to access for entry, but that could be on us. Hana is a great little community and we enjoyed being in the neighborhood. Go to the shaved ice place down the road with a little sign board by the main road. It's run out of someone's garage (I know, a bit strange!) and it is great!
Flies, flies and more flies! AC only in upstairs rooms and one room did not work.
FLIES, FLIES, AND MORE FLIES! AC only in upstairs rooms and one room did not work. My husband and I stayed downstairs with no AC and the bedroom and bathroom had flies so we could not use the bathroom and the bedroom was so hot that we did not sleep well. Upstairs one bedroom AC unit did not work. And each bedroom was covered with flies as well! We tried to kill some of them but there were dozens and dozens in the bedrooms and the downstairs bathroom. There were also a few lizards in the bathrooms. Other than that the location was great and the house was clean and very pretty! The upstairs bedrooms have been more remodeled and the downstairs is dated.
When I messaged housekeeping I did not receive any help with the flies but rather a response that they were not sure why they were there but something must have attracted them. I asked if there was a vacuum or fly swatter to deal with them and did not get a response back.
Perfect stay for our family. We rented the entire house for two nights due to our larger group of 6. Plenty of space and the beds were very comfortable. Great location, walking distance to Hāna Bay, food trucks and the Cross hike— easy short drive to all the other beaches —we also had a nice view of the ocean. The two upstairs rooms had air conditioning which is nice in Hana if you need it. Had everything you need for the kitchen, beach towels and chairs and convenient outdoor shower to remove sand! We stay in Hana every year and this was our first time at this house—we will definitely book again!
