Enjoy your time in our 1 bedroom suite, Unit A with a garden view. This suite is perfect for a couple or family. It has a full kitchen including laundry! The resort is oceanfront with a short walk to the beach. The unit is wheelchair accessible with underground parking and an elevator to your suite. Guests will also have access to the pool, hot tub and exercise facility as well as the gorgeous outdoor hot tub area and outdoor wood fireplace!

Room was clean, but felt it needed some attention. Sheet was pilled, but owner arranged tp send us new sheets once we let her know. Pillows were cheap & lumpy but we brought our own.Couch has some stains & area rug.Lightbulb was missing in a lamp.Patio door molding needs fastening, as it was falling off the wall.Kitchen dishes had some chips & cutlery were mismatched.No big deal but have stayed elsewhere with better quality. Details matter to many guests especially when paying 300 per night!No wifi passwords or check out instructions were given, but owner gave info once asked.

Overall our stay was very good. We enjoyed the property and its amenities. It was also great that the property was pet friendly and the location was centrally located. There were a couple issues, only one key was provided which was difficult with a family of four and the fear of losing it with no way to replace it. There was no WiFi or instructions on how to get on, only instruction on check in was the WiFi was TELUS. And I attempted to contact the Host on check in however there was no response to my question not even a acknowledgement of the message. Left me feeling like if there was an issue there was no support.

Great place to stay with family

Everything we experienced was as advertised! Room was clean, outdoor pool and hot tub was great. Couldn’t ask for much more. Would recommend this place and host, and would definitely stay there again!

The property looks like the pictures, however it is getting tired and needs a refresh. When I first walked in and put my hand on the counter it was sticky and made me question the cleanliness. Small other irritants include, a tiny amount of dishwashing detergent, no laundry detergent, 3 mismatched wine glasses, 2 empty salt shakers and miscellaneous leftovers in the cupboards. The sheets in the bedroom had multiple holes and there were stains on the couch. It is unfortunate because the structure of the unit is good, it just appears uncared for. I wrote to the owner and said my husband and I were coming for the long weekend and yet there was only one key card. I texted her immediately upon arrival asking if I could get a second card. She replied the next day and said I could buy one from the front desk because I had registered as a single person. Our text conversations are right in the VRBO app and it was clearly signed by both of us. I said it was unacceptable to expect me to pay for the key card and she wrote back the following day, saying she was busy and would look into it. I have heard nothing from her. Hard to recommend this property in light of our experience.

The property was surface clean. Bottom of shower needed work, couch had stains (blankets would help), light bulbs burned out, pillow slip stains, dirty bbq, dirty coffee pot. You can tell that the cleaners are not putting in any effort, and there is no one checking on their work. The biggest issue was the plugged sink drain. It seemed ok, but slow, for the first few days, but then when we used a large amount of water in the sink, it wouldn’t drain. A plumber was called, but was unable to fix it and had to come back repeatedly, the last 3 days of our visit. We had to endure an extremely foul sewer smell for these last days as well as being unable to use the sink to wash dishes, etc. I can’t even express how bad the smell was. The owners promised a partial refund for the inconvenience, but 4 weeks later, nothing. No partial refund.

Excellent condo for a short stay

We enjoyed this pleasantly appointed condo with a pretty balcony. We had a couple of little issues but the owner was very responsive and dealt with them immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

On the plus side the suite is nice with a lovely kitchen and bathroom and a good size deck with a BBQ. The BBQ worked well and was reasonably clean. However, we were given the wrong address, and drove around the neighbouring property looking for our room before we realized it must be the wrong property. Not the best way to start. Finally in the suite we unpacked and settled in. Its a decent place, but is quite dark due to inadequate lighting and dark paint colours. We did enjoy our time there, but there are a few things that were annoying and need attention. Really it just seemed like no-one has been checking that things are working properly. The main TV remote did not work at all (batteries?) There was a Roku remote in the bedroom but it didn't do anything. No ability to access our streaming services on either TV. The main table lamp had a burned out bulb. Weird collection of mismatched cutlery with lots of spoons and forks but only 3 knives. An old toaster oven that has definitely seen better days. A very small selection of glasses suggesting many had broken but not been replaced. No soap dish at the bathroom sink. The metal patio chairs got uncomfortable after a while and should really have seat cushions. The owner needs to take a good look around and do some maintenance. At this price point I expect the suite to be in good working order and with a properly stocked kitchen.

The outdoor pool with hot tub is a dream! Parksville Ocean is steps away! Family-style Restaurant next door or BBQ on your deck! Outdoor fireplace in the lobby to cozy up with a blanket. Perfect West Coast getaway in Parksville!

This property is exactly like advertised and suited the two of us well. We did have to purchase a few items as it was for a longer stay. The resort staff are very friendly and the gym and the hot tub were great. The outdoor fireplace was very nice during the cooler weather. Would recommend staying there.

Overall - very positive stay!For the price you pay there was a couple small areas for improvement. Unit had no toilet paper, garbage bags, paper towel and it would’ve been nice to have a fan in the master bedroom.

Parksville Delight.

Condo exactly as advertised. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 4 weeks starting in early March. Communication with Shannon was excellent. Location well located for exploring the region and going out for walks.Beach access from the resort not the greatest but other options available from the park or nearby trail.

March Break getaway

My grandson and I had a wonderful 3 night stay. Condo was beautiful and well equipped. Even laundry in the suite, Gorgeous high end bathroom having both a lovely soaker tub and separate walk-in shower. Two flatscreen TVs were appreciated so I didn’t have to watch cartoons! We will definitely visit this resort again.

Stained and sandy sheets upon arrival, paid over 1200 and there was no shampoo and one garbage bag. Everything was minimal. The owner was very good with quick response and trying to fix things for me which was nice. Cleaners were brutal

A nice winter retreat

We enjoyed our month long winter vacation. Our host was very responsive to any questions, and checked in with us periodically through the month. The “beach access” was disappointing - not usable. The condo was close to town with all the amenities for shopping. We will likely stay at this facility again.

Property is absolutely gorgeous and would book there again in a heartbeat. However, we booked through Expedia but then received a confirmation email from VRBO, thought it was a scam first but turns out this was a VRBO suite. Didn’t mind that at all but just wish there would have been communication on the Expedia booking site.

Spacious and comfortable

Our one bedroom suite with a large balcony was in the Lodge, with the pool right behind the Lodge, very convenient. While most of the development consists of duplexes - several more are under construction closest to the beach access - there was no impact to us. The beach access is a five minute walk though at times (highest tide) the beach itself is not easily accessible. The suite was very well equipped for the two of us, very quiet, clean, and with a good mattress and bedding. The owner was very responsive with an initial ac issue that was quickly resolved. We really enjoyed our stay in this suite, and would come again.
