We had an incredible stay!!! The house feels enormous and it had more than enough rooms and bathrooms for our entire group! We stayed the weekend before our wedding with our close friends and family and absolutely loved it. It truly was a hidden gem and had the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen! The property is huge and provided tons of opportunities for gorgeous photos, hidden nooks to read, tan, and swim! Eamonn was a lovely host and was quick to respond and ensured our stay was incredible! We cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be visiting again soon!
The house was simply exceptional. It was large enough for our big group, very thoughtfully and functionally designed to host all age groups. It was in a beautifully isolated area where we could enjoy peaceful family time. The peninsula had many access points to the water, which gave us a new part of the property to explore every day. The veranda was a wonderful spot to curl up with a book from the little library, which had an excellent selection. The pictures in the listing do not do this home justice! Eamonn was extremely responsive throughout our stay and was on top of any question we had. I simply can't recommend this home enough.
I've been traveling to Big Gull Lake since I was a child and have had the chance to stay at several properties in the area. This is by far the nicest without a doubt. The property is tastefully decorated and spacious with comfortable beds, wonderful views, and perhaps the most well stocked kitchen for a VRBO I've ever seen. It is remote and requires a drive down a meandering (but well maintained) dirt road, which is part of what makes it so special. The large screened in porch is amazing and serves as a great spot to eat meals, play games, and watch approaching storms while avoiding the bugs. There are ample opportunities to enjoy screen free activities from board games to a chess table, an upright piano, and a yard large enough to accommodate a badminton court. Should you need some screen time, the wifi and TV also worked well. Although not a requirement to have a boat, the lake is beautiful and fun to explore if you have the chance. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
