Tiptoe is a charming house, sleeping 6, that is light filled and welcoming. Tiptoe is tastefully decorated to include all the comforts of a home by the beach. Set on the high side of Tulip Street, Tiptoe captures the cool summer breezes and views of the ocean from most rooms. The house is light and airy with plenty of space to accommodate 6 guests.

7 night minimums apply for the 3 week blocks below. To book, select these exact dates:

- Arrive: Tuesday 22 Dec | Depart: Tuesday 29 Dec

- Arrive: Thursday 7 Jan | Depart: Thursday 14 Jan

For the rest of Summer Season, a 3 night minimum applies.

Where will I be?

Tiptoe is located on the uphill side of Tulip Street, with both Little Hyams and Chinamans Beach within 5 minutes walk.

Why choose Tiptoe?

Tiptoe is ideally located in an elevated, quiet location, in the northwest corner of Hyams Beach Village. The National Park is directly behind the property and is easily accessed from the rear garden. A short stroll will take you to either Chinamans Beach, Boat Ramp Beach, and a slightly longer walk will take you to Hyams Beach or the local cafe for a great coffee, breakfast or lunch.

How is the property laid out?

Guests can access the bottom level only of the house. Tiptoe is one story.

Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?

The property has a 50inch LCD HD television, a 3D Blu-ray player and a stereo. Tiptoe offers Foxtel Platinum HD including sport and movies.

This property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a backup plan.

What about outdoors?

Tiptoe has an east facing covered verandah with water views. Watch the sunrise over the ocean, or enjoy the cool ocean breeze in the afternoon.

Staying warm or keeping cool?

Open the doors to the front verandah to get the cool sea breeze! Tiptoe has a combustion fire and gas heating to keep you warm in the cooler weather.

What about sheets, towels and other supplies?

Tiptoe supplies quality linen and bath towels. However, please bring your own beach towel!

Parking for cars, boats etc.?

There is parking for two cars on the driveway.

Is my cat or dog also welcome to stay?

Tiptoe is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options.


What are the minimum stay rules?

- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights

Are there any special Summer Season rules?

Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
