The home was very comfortable to stay in. The view of the Ferrys coming and going were great. We especially enjoyed watching the deer enjoy the apples from the tree in the back yard. A great place to stay!

Perfect vacation home!

My two week stay at Ferry View House was great! The house is located in a quiet residential area and has a beautiful view of ocean, islands, sky, and ferries coming and going from the dock. This view can be enjoyed from all the living areas as well as from a comfortable deck. The house is immaculate. It is also totally stocked in every room. The owner, Beth, has thought of everything--even nail polish remover for the ladies! The owners live downstairs, but they absolutely do not intrude on your privacy in any way. They have a separate entrance, and during my two-week stay, I did not hear a single sound from downstairs. I have stayed in many vacation rentals throughout the country, and Ferry View House is my #1 pick. I made a reservation for next summer before I left, and I am looking forward to staying at Ferry View House every summer from now on.

My family really enjoyed the 9 nights we stayed. The home is comfortable, well-stocked, and has an incredible view. There are ample towels, linens/bedding, kitchen & laundry supplies, and toiletries. The large living room with the view is so great for relaxing, and the beds were comfortable. The bedroom windows have blackout curtains so it's easy to sleep even with the long sunny hours in the summer. The house is nicely upgraded and decorated as well. It feels like a home, not just a rental. Bob and Beth were easy to communicate with via text. The backyard is not available to guests, but Bob and Beth were accommodating in letting my kids run around out there. Someone lives in the level below and you can hear the TV and voices occasionally through the floor, but we never saw them and the home still felt pretty private. Of the 9 nights we stayed, we heard the voices and TV late on one night; otherwise, it was pretty quiet. I highly suggest having your morning coffee and evening tea or wine on the balcony, the view is amazing. We'd definitely stay again if we're back in the area.

Picture Perfect Puget Sound Home!!

Five stars isn’t enough!! This home is everything and more as listed, you MUST stay here! Pristine accommodations; quiet, gorgeous neighborhood. A perfect picture view of the San Juan islands and ferries ( located right near the San Juan island ferry terminal for fun, easy day trips). The owners are kind, so helpful and were a pleasure to coordinate with! They’ve thought of everything to make your trip comfortable. We look forward to staying here again!

Stunning property

Photos don't do it justice. The home was spacious, spotlessly clean and the view is to die for. The property owners go above and beyond, providing a selection of coffee and tea, and a very well-stocked kitchen. They even providing toiletries in the bathrooms in case we had forgotten anything. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, and we would be happy to stay again any time. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a truly homey home base in Anacortes.

Our Daughter and boys stayed here earlier this year and let us know how much they enjoyed it. The home is very comfortable and relaxing. Watching the ferry boats land and depart as well as the local wildlife pass through the yard was very exciting. We are looking forward to staying again next year.

Excellent Home Away From Home

The property was in a very nice neighborhood with amazing views of the ferries, therefore the property name! The house was excellent-very clean and spacious. Owners were easy to reach and prompt to respond. They thought about providing amazing amenities to make tier guests feel right at home! Would definitely look at staying here on a return trip!!

Great Home!

The house was beautiful! Honestly, I feel the photos don’t do it justice. Very clean, comfortable, extremely well-stocked and excellent communication with the owner. And to top it off, the view is gorgeous. Staying in this home was a very pleasant experience!

Best Place in Anacortes!

This is an amazing place to stay in Anacortes. It is convenient, just off of Oakes avenue near the ferry terminal an just a couple of minutes from downtown. The house is in excellent condition. Everything is clean and works perfectly. The view is wonderful as you get to see the ferries come and go throughout the day and evening. It is great to have coffee in the morning and look across the channel at Cypress and Guemes islands. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped and preparing meals is easy. The hosts are close by and extremely responsive. This is the best short-term rental we have ever had.

Loved our Stay With a View!

This home was immaculate, and perfect for relaxing toward that stunning view! We loved watching the ferries arrive and depart, and it was a great location for evening walks, day trips and hopping a ferry to Friday Harbor. We can't wait to return and bring the kids (who didn't get to make it this time.)

Early Christmas in Anacortes

This was the perfect place for our family to spend a weekend together before the holidays! The view was spectacular and the house was very clean. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed and everything we didn't know we needed! Had a fabulous trip thanks to a great place to stay!

Family Thanksgiving

Our family was so thankful for this spectacular setting for our Thanksgiving celebration! I have never seen such a complete kitchen in a short-term rental. The clean, sunny space and mesmerizing views delivered the perfect backdrop for our gathering.

Comfortable home and great views!

We visited Anacortes for a wedding and this home was a very restful respite from the business of wedding prep! I was officiating for a friend and we were able to have the small wedding run through in the living room upstairs. Some of my favorite features include the 2nd story porch that looks out at the water and the island and the gas enclosed fireplace in the living room that is both warm and provides cozy, ambient light. AccessibilityThere are multiple types of seating throughout the home, so you’re likely to find at least one chair that suits your needs. There is one step to enter the home but everything else is one story for the guest space. The floors are vinyl with cork so they are soft and retain heat fairly well. Both bathrooms have detachable shower heads. The guest bathroom has a bath tub and the main bathroom has a small lip to step over into a large shower with two sets cut out of the walls. This home sports three bedrooms and the tables next to them were big enough for our CPAP machines. The lights are very customizable in the various spaces so they are migraine and light sensitivity friendly. The bedrooms also have both blinds and curtains for a blackout effect, letting you sleep in with peace. Lots of convenient appliances, from a washer/dryer to a dishwasher to a well stocked keurig to an electric kettle for tea. Lots of pillows and blankets in the living room to make sure everyone has the bolsters they need and the warmth they prefer. I look forward to my next stay at this home! It has room for friends and is very well maintained. The caretakers were available to support any needs that may have come up and were also unobtrusive. I can tell a lot of love and pride in their work involved in the care and maintenance of this home.

We loved staying at the Ferryview house! VERY clean, spacious, great view and stocked with everything you could imagine needing. Host was super nice and accommodating. We would definitely rebook this property!
