Beautiful, expansive home nestled in a wooded setting in the coveted Forest Park neighborhood. We have brought the outside in; with many plants to make it feel more like home. This home has a designer's eye.. aesthetically simple with modern touches; cozy, tidy, and tasteful. Gorgeous views, a serene setting, a true retreat!

This is our personal home that we look forward to sharing with you! We know you will love and respect it just as much as we do! Your privacy is of our utmost concern. We have a camera at the front door so that we can assist you better if an issue arises while you are trying to check-in. Other than that, we utilize a cohost so that your questions can be answered promptly and immediately. Cohosts will handle the majority of your interaction. We hope your stay is a memorable one!

Just two minutes away you have the best and largest park in Portland at your fingertips. There are 100s of miles of trails, including breathtaking views and forested paths to provide cover from the rain on wet days and to dapple the sun on hot ones. It's Portland's gem!

A short drive in any direction takes you to various interesting and enjoyable neighborhoods: NW Portland, St. John's, Bethany, Hillsboro.

You will have access to the full home (upstairs limited access, due to the landing upstairs used for personal craft use.
No access to garage. We use this for personal storage. Emergency access permitted in emergencies.

When you first walk in, to the left you’ll find a spacious kitchen with large 3-person breakfast bar seating and large pantry to the left of the kitchen. The mud room is located to the right of the kitchen. To the right of the mud room there is another set of small stairs that leads up to a private space utilized by the owners, please refrain from using this area. The dining room separates both living rooms and seats up to 8. There are two living rooms on each side of the dining room with windows overlooking the valley/orchard.
Down the hall from the living room is 1 queen-sized bed with a shared bathroom.
Downstairs there are two separate offices with ample workspace.
There is one hallway bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
There is another room with a queen sized futon, and at the end of the hallway, with a king-sized bed with a large closet with two pack-and-play cribs. The primary bedroom is located downstairs with a king sized bed and bathroom suite with shower. The downstairs has an air purifier as well as a dehumidifier that must stay on 24/7.
Washer/dryer is located downstairs in the laundry room including ironing facilities. Lastly, exterior deck overlooks the valley/orchard with ample seating space that will interchange with the seasons. Guests are encouraged to roam the property, especially during the summer season when everything is in full bloom.


Must bring own vehicle, it’s harder to get into this area in a 3rd party driver vehicle.

Pets not allowed however, DISCLAIMER: there is a cat that lives here when owner-occupied, if you are allergic, this may not be a good home for you. Smoke-Free Property.
There is also a full-sized crib that can be made available for an extra cost of $100. Please message cohost in advance for this.
We keep this property at a controlled temperature level of 66 degrees in order to help conserve energy, and we have a few extra heaters at the home and will provide wood and kindling in case you want to utilize the wood stove upstairs or need a space heater. Please contact cohost upon arrival for info to change temperature settings.
This property is in the middle of a wooded area. While we are a pest-free home, living in the PNW forest has spiders, and other friendly creatures. Sometimes, these visitors find their way inside. This is a byproduct of where we the house is settled. If you are squeamish about these things, this may not be the retreat for you!
The property is well-loved and has many well-preserved family decor items that we love being able to share with you! We have cataloged and left all items out for your use. Please respect all items left for other guests to enjoy as well!
This home may include a recording camera strictly in the restricted upstairs area utilized only by the owners to ensure privacy to their personal space. Tampering is prohibited.

Ring doorbell camera at front door overlooking part of the driveway and front entrance. Another one at the side entrance (entry into the pantry/mudroom) above the doorframe overlooking the door entrance.

The home may include a decibel monitoring sensor to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels throughout the property. It allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. Tampering is prohibited.
