This home is very very nice. The pictures do not do it justice. It’s more spacious than is shown. There are trees outlining the back yard where they have a fire pit, which was great for s’mores. It is very close to town and easy access to the lake. The family really enjoyed our stay.

Could use improvements

The property itself was a good location and the house was great. However, they need to up their kitchen essentials. They didnt even have a strainer or measuring cup. The can opener they had was junk. Upon check in, the property was clean but not great. Still had crumbs all over the place in the kitchen and on the floor. I had to use a pocket knife to open up any cans i had. Driveway was not plowed nor was the walkway to our entrance shoveled. I emailed the property manager and she said there was a shovel on the property and there was not. If it's buried in snow that is not our problem. Should have been taken care of before our arrival. She was however great about contacting their plow guy to come do the driveway. Mostly everything in and about the house was good but needs improvements in some areas.

McCall snowmobile trip

House was perfect for a snowmobile trip. Having a large driveway to be able to park pickups with enclosed snowmobile trailers was great. Close to a gas station and grocery stores made it really convenient. House was clean and very nice; I will be planning another trip for sure and stay again at the house.

Great location, but owner needs to let go

The house was nice. Spacious. Great location. The cameras were annoying as the people that own want to know your every move. The hot tub was half full, some appliances were not cleaned, the firewood was in an inconvenient place to get and made it difficult to have fires. The heat kept getting reset down to 58 degrees when we were sleeping. Like I said, owners need to understand they’re renting and relax a little. The minute we did something that they didn’t agree with, we got an email. It’s like they watch the cameras for entertainment. The garage is inaccessible and we found out a week before. So plan on just throwing anything that you want in a dry place out on the porch. That’s what we were told by our ok helpful contact in the area who was difficult to get ahold of. Our stay was average at best because of the uncomfortableness of feeling supervised 24/7. We have service pet and they gave us a hassle after it was cleared, and then Evolve asked us to disclose why service pet was needed, therefore asking for our disability, which they should know better. In the end it all worked out, we had a decent vacation but we will not be coming back. Evolve, you can do better by making sure owners aren’t overbearing.

Very Clean

First thing you notice is how clean the place is. Definitely the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed at. Neighborhood is very quiet. The master shower is incredible. Overall, no complaints. Highly recommend.

Great home for us to have our 2 week vacation with grandkids. They absolutely loved the hot tub. Great bike path at the end of the street. And the elementary school playground behind the house was wonderful too.

Great place close to town!

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved biking into town for ice cream and the hot tub was great after a long day of riding. Would come again!

Wonderful Stay

Our family had a great stay at the Fox Den house! It was peaceful, clean, and comfortable. We also enjoyed the wildlife which visited the property. We saw many deer and a very friendly cat came each day. We also loved using the hot tub and fire pit! We will be back!

Great Place - Lots of space

Check in/access was easy, nice location away from town but close to grocery store, and quiet neighborhood. House located on corner w/ lots of space in back yard. Living spaces have lots of room, and upstairs has great sectional couch w/ TV for kids. Only found one downside w/ cleaning, but it wasn't a deal changer at all.

Beautiful and Comfortable

This home is ideally located close to all the amenities McCall has to offer. The check-in process was really simple and the home had everything we could possibly need. The neighborhood is great and the home was close to everything we wanted to do while in McCall. Our stay was comfortable, the house was very clean and it was a really wonderful place to stay for our large family. We loved the upstairs loft game area which the kids took full advantage of.We enjoyed our time sitting in front of the fireplace and loved the large hot tub it offered. We look forward to our next visit during the winter months.

Disappointed

Disappointed. We arrived at night to check in and the front door was unlocked. We were obviously worried about safety and had to go through the house to ensure no one was there. The main reason we booked this property was for the hot tub and unfortunately went to get in our first night and it was locked and the key was not on the premises. The beds had looked like they were slept in, there was hair in the bed and shower drain, make up on the sheets. Dirty dishes on the coffee table. Then went to use the restroom and there wasnt toilet paper or paper towels. The soap to wash your hands was also all watered down. The hot tub maintenance person came out the next am to unlock the hot tub but houskeeping did not come until around noon the following day w toilet paper. We had contacted the prop manager to ask if we could have 2 hr extension of checkout from 10 am to noon expecting this would have been an easy way to help rectify all of the above and this was rejected. Major let down and poor experience when spending 1000+ dollars

Inviting, immaculate home

This beautiful home and property was the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy McCall. The home is meticulously maintained, warm and inviting. Every detail has been well thought out for the comfort of its guests. It has every luxury you could ask for. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and being able to enjoy the comfort of sitting in front of the fireplace, enjoying sunsets from the front porch or soaking in the hot tub made for the perfect getaway. The location is ideal and allows you to enjoy all the surrounding areas have to offer with ease. We eagerly look forward to returning again to the fox den with our family.

Space, Comfort, Amenities

We enjoyed a full week in this wonderful property. Our group is all adult family members and we had plenty of space to spread out and sleep. Great features of this property include many bedrooms, two family rooms, nice private backyard, parking, and Jacuzzi. We were even able to walk out the back to the school and use the field and frisbee golf course. We saw deer and enjoyed the quiet outdoor spaces, such as the deck and back grassy lawn. The host is easily reachable for any questions. We hope to return.!
