About this property

Water street in main floor

This is a 2 bedroom apartment with a queen bed and a double bed (air mattress, if needed) in a duplex house located in a quiet area. The house is less than a 5 minute walk to the Napanee river, less than a five minute drive to Napanee hospital. Grocery stores, restaurants, and banks are also close by. Self checking but we live close by if needed. TV with Netflix, no cable! The upstairs unit is also a totally separate short term unit.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We were very close to a great restaurant, shops and to the 401 which made for easy travel to other places. The house was roomy and clean. We expected an older home and found it very cozy and charming.

Communication with owner is excellent. I appreciated that there was an air mattress, hair dryer, clothes iron available even though they weren’t needed on this stay. Even babies are thought of ❤️ a bassinet was in the closest The back yard is fenced in 👍. I enjoyed seeing three cardinals flittering about the back yard

Older property - needed more linens/towels

This is a lower unit. If someone is renting above, you hear every step they take. It was disruptive. Also, no extra towels or sheets. There were extra pillows but no pillow cases.

I wish you had messaged to ask for more linen that were actually available at your disposal at the hallway closet. You must mention to people reading your comment/review that you booked for 2 people, each bedroom were fully made and covered and two towels per room. As for the foot traffic from upstairs, unfortunately that’s not much we can do about it. Thanks again for staying with us :)

We found everything we needed & then some. l suggest listing more of the amenities available; like fully equipped kitchen with kettle, drip coffee maker, filters, microwave, BBQi, hair blower, baby cradle, laundry, etc. Bring your own cream, milk & sugar. Bring lawn chairs (IF more than 2 people). Two more cushions would have been appreciated. To the owner: Ask people in the upper unit to be aware that there are guests below them, so try to tread lightly, but that was NOT a major issue. It was a bit cool indoors at night. The air conditioner was off, but we couldn't figure out how to turn the heat on. To be fair though, we didn't contact the owner to ask. We 'fine dined' only a 5-minute walk away at the waterfront. I highly recommend this property!

Run down, not homey, noisy upstairs

Very old and run down. Kitchen and bedroom floors look like the only improvements. Not very homey. We were on the bottom floor and weren't aware what was above us. We did find out eventually when 2 people came in after us. You could hear them walking, opening and closing the balcony door. Needless to say we did not sleep very well.
