The charming vacation rental boasts 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and a loft — ample space for you and all your loved ones. Start each morning on the screened porch and take in the breathtaking sunrise views, then walk down to the waterfront to dip your toes in the sand. Old Home Charm

My favorite was sitting on the porch! We all enjoyed the screened in porch with the swing and rocking chairs! It was beautiful out there. I love Old homes, and the high ceilings with original details was very nice. It is not a new home, so if you are looking perfection with all the new things, I wouldn't recommend this home. BUT, if you want to escape to the past with Old Floridian charm, this is the home for you! Bring your fishing pole and fresh shrimp... you will be sure to catch some fish!

Great Property, Rude Host

The property was beautiful and we loved that it didn't feel like a busy tourist place. It felt more like a small town with more locals than tourists. The home was a perfect size for our group of 7 and we loved the screened in porch. When we asked the host if we were supposed to provide our own toilet paper, however, we were told it was not an unlimited supply. This was on the first full day of our stay. We reminded the host that there were 7 of us staying for 4 nights and there was not extra toilet paper in both bathrooms as stated, we were told there was no need for us to get nasty. We couldn't find anything to do dishes with as well. The host did bring more toilet paper and disposable cloths for dishes, but we have never been treated like that by a host before and will not return to this property because of the poor customer service.

Nice Long Weekend

The place was just as advertised. It was easy to find. it was right on the water with a small water access for fishing or launching a kayak. There were plenty of good restaurants in the area.

Best view ever!

We enjoyed a quiet relaxing few days overlooking the water from the screened porch! The home was clean, well-equipped and very comfortable- with the exception of one bed which had a rather lumpy mattress. We will definitely look forward to a return visit!

Cottage by the bay

An old fashion cottage with a nice screened porch to watch the tide. We also watched an otter catch a fish and watched the moon rise over the bay. It's a very simple accomodation but it has everything you need, very clean. Feels like old Florida.

Perfect Work Get Away

I was in town for a work event and could not have picked a more perfect place to stay. The cottage was easy to find, clean, well stocked and the view out the back porch was amazing. 10/10 would stay again!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed ourselves. Check out Wakulla Springs State Park, it was a highlight. House is charming and rustic with wonderful screened porch that looks right out onto the bay.

Love this little cottage!

We arrived in a terrible rainstorm after dark… It would have been nice if there had been outside lights. Once inside, we fell in love with this charming 1930’s cottage! It had a well stocked kitchen, with all the modern amenities. Not recommended if you can’t do stairs since the house is on stilts. Christine was very responsive to our questions. The screen porch with rocking chairs looking over the bay were perfect! Wish there hade been a queen sized bed. We will be back!

Lovely Cottage on the Water

The Bay Cottage was a beautiful place to stay on the water. Fabulous front porch with an incredible view. Cottage is tastefully decorated and has everything that you need to relax and have a great time. The Host -- Christine -- was very accessible and accommodating. Will plan on scheduling a return trip in the near future.

Wasn’t has expected

The house was furnished with the basic items. You could tell that maintenance to house was lacking as well. Master bed was very lumpy and needed replacing. Front screen door was lying on back porch. If you’re looking for a quite relaxing time it’s great. Everything thing closes early and grocery store was over 20 miles away. Which was where we had to drive at 7pm on a Saturday night for a bottle of wine bc the only liquor store was already closed

This small bay front cottage had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and fun. The kids were a bit disappointed that the beach is a low tide sliver of sand but managed to find a lot to do when we weren’t out and about in the community. My only suggestions for improvement is the outside lighting. I really thought a light at the bottom of the stairs would make coming up and down after dark safer. You can’t see the bottom step due to the way it’s set going into the underside of the house when it isn’t full daylight outside.

Beautiful view outside, inside different story

The view was pristine overlooking the water from The back porch but the outdated interior played into effect quickly after check in. The house has furniture that is extremely dated which we were ok with overlooking. That was until the roach infestation was discovered and then I just couldn’t relax with ease. A few hours after checking in we were looking for dish towels to dry dishes and came across a colony of roaches under the sink. I emailed the POC for the property and was told “ Again my apologies for the inconvenience. Pest control was there today to treat the house. The owner has been made aware of the issue.” We went and bought roach spray to try and assists for our two day stay but it did not seem to help much. I had a hard time feeling comfortable the rest of our stay and every time I turned a light on or entered a new room I spotted roaches. So book with caution. If roaches don’t bother you, it’s a quiet place with great views; but I just could not seem to enjoy it when my skin was constantly crawling wondering what I was sitting, eating, and sleeping with every night. I’d load the video and pics I sent the poc but the review area does not have that option.

Relaxing Vacay!

We loved this property! The screened porch with the swing and rocking chairs was our favorite part! The property was comfortable, clean, and well stocked. Our only complaint is the one full bath (only one shower) and the half bath didn't have a light, so we had to use our phones to light the room at night.

Excellent Weekend Home

We were in the area with the kids visiting family, this house was perfect. On the water, everything you need and plenty of room for all. We ended up hanging out at our rental instead of my sisters house at night to enjoy the patio overlooking the water.
