We are pleased to announce our new fee structure. When you book with us, you'll have access to all areas of the property, including the Main House Top Floor Bedrooms (Sleeps 6), the Bunk Room (Sleeps additional 12) and the Pool House (Sleeps 5). This ensures that you and your guests have a comprehensive and enjoyable experience. If you prefer to exclude access to the Bunk room and/or Pool House from your booking, please let us know at the time of reservation, and we will adjust the pricing accordingly.

Nestled in the Scenic Rim near the town of Boonah, this property is just over an hour's drive from Brisbane or 1.5 hours from the Gold Coast.
As you take in the jaw-dropping lake and mountain views, relax in the knowledge that a fantastic luxury holiday has just begun. This beautiful architecturally designed property makes the most of the amazing Moogerah Lake views everyone is so passionate about and you will have front row seat. The property has been finished to a high standard, with a stylish open plan living area boasting floor to ceiling windows looking out to the lake. In summer, these sliding doors can be fully opened to connect the living zone to an expansive front deck area, offering fantastic indoor-outdoor flow. If it’s cooler outside, relax on the sumptuous corner couch and enjoy a drink while you gaze out and watch the sun disappear behind the mountains, while the flames from the fireplace flicker beside you. Just out the back you’ll find the pool, spa pool and fire pit, the perfect place to recharge after a day on the dam or hiking.
The stylish designer kitchen with stone benchtops offers plenty of space to cook up a storm for family and friends. If you prefer alfresco dining, make the most of the courtyard complete with gas barbecue, outdoor dining space and outdoor fire. The property is located close to the numerous bike and walking tracks Moogerah has to offer.
The main residence has four bedrooms and a Pool house that offer guests flexibility, depending on their preferred bedding requirements.

You have access to the whole property; you will not share with any other guests. The rates shown on this listing are for the full house including exclusive access to the Bunk Room and Pool house, which sleeps up to total of 23 guests. Keg Tap Use in the Poolside Bar Area: If you are wanting to use the keg taps that we have installed in the outdoor poolside bar we do offer this option for guests who want to make their stay extra special. Please let us know in advance when you book if you would like to use the keg taps and we can send you more information about it.
This property is equipped with external security cameras overlooking the driveways, pool, spa and general outdoor areas for general safety and property protection. Cameras are not actively monitored during your stay, and footage is only reviewed in the event of an incident. You will find these cameras on the Southwest corner Eaves and Northeast corner eaves at both the front and back of the house. The cameras can only be moved remotely, and the cameras will move and/or reset position due to automated movement detection (i.e. If something like a bird flies by, the camera may revert to its original position). so please do not try to access or unplug any equipment. If you are found to have tampered with internet or security equipment/cords a fee will be charged for a technician to come out and fix the devices, remember we are regional so travel and call out fees will apply. Please just do us all a favour and please just don’t touch any of this equipment.
Moogerah Lake House #5 is a part of a collection of 6 holiday houses privately owned by the Moogerah Lake House Group. Perfect for larger group bookings, or for small functions. Lake Moogerah has peaceful blue waters and is an ideal destination for swimming, camping, boating and reconnecting with nature. A popular location for boating enthusiast to go water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing and kayaking, however you will need a permit to fish. Beautiful parklands and National parks to explore with Mt Edward close by for hikers. Walk across the dam wall, at 219m long and 38m high, ideal for sighting turtles. There is a local cafe and general store close by if you need also. Moogerah Lake Houses are in the most relaxed carefree neighbourhood. With this said everyone needs to consider our neighbours so we are asking you to consider your noise levels on weekdays at 10pm and Friday nights and weekends please consider your noise levels around midnight and adjust your noise levels to suit the quiet environment you’re in. Moogerah Lake Houses are in close proximity to bush-land, the lake and national park, so wildlife of all kinds, big and small are very common.

This fabulous, well appointed property was perfect for our getaway with cinema, games and multiple areas for rest and relaxation. Pool and spa & swim up bar and sauna were also appreciated by our group. Highly recommend this house for families too.
The facilities were amazing and catered for all age groups. Lots of nostalgic games so heaps of fun. House was beautifully appointed and spotless. We all wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend for large family groups. We will definitely book again.Thank you
The perfect house for a large mixed group or adults/kids and the facilities are perfect! Only thing we had was misunderstanding when we booked that the price was for the whole 23 accommodation, but that was extra for the pool house and bunk house
This house was amazing! As soon as you stepped inside the WOW factor hit you smack, bang in the face! We were a family of 10 and there was plenty of room and space for everyone. We had movie buffs that didn’t want to leave the gold class cinema room. The kids had so many games to play downstairs in their area..we barely heard a peep out of them. The ladies enjoyed champagne by the pool while the men cooked the BBQ..a truly relaxing holiday had by all. As a family of 3 generations I would highly recommend this house and the area around Lake Moogerah is as breathtaking as the house…we are already planning our return trip!

Personally wouldnt book again
Was a beautiful home but the showers went cold after 2 showers but the house says accommodates 24 people so don’t understand how they only have 8 minutes worth of hot water. The power also went out and the contact was unreadable at that moment

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your visit. Our goal is to provide all our guests with a positive and memorable experience, and we're sorry to hear that we fell short in your case.
We understand that the power outage was a significant inconvenience, and we deeply regret that it affected your experience. Unfortunately, the outage was beyond our control. Despite receiving messages late in the evening, we responded as quickly and reasonably as possible to address your concerns. We were relieved to receive your confirmation that the power had been restored. Unfortunately this can happen from time to time in the regional area where the house is located.
Additionally, we understand you experienced an issue with the hot water, which you informed us of very late/early in the morning. The following morning, we promptly addressed this by sending a staff member to check on the situation and ensure our guests were taken care of. No issue or fault could be found at the time and once again, we were both given confirmation that everything was functioning correctly. We understand it was extremely cold weather at the time of your stay, and we can only suspect the hot water ran out, but given a short wait it was replenished again, which we believe explains why no fault could be found or replicated.
We take your comments very seriously and can confirm we have already addressed the concerns you raised. We are committed to making the necessary changes to ensure a better experience for future guests.
