We enjoyed our stay at the Hoodoo Hideout! The location was perfect for the activities we wanted to do, my family enjoyed the activities provided at the house, the house was very clean and comfortable.

Perfect location for Bryce. We got in after dark and didnt realize the amazing views just out the front door! Kids kept themselves occupied with game tables ans Wii when we had downtime.

Making memories in Bryce country

The house was clean cool and inviting. We had no issues. The support team was ready to answer any inquiries any time we had them. No extra chores at this house upon leaving, which is a huge plus as these sorts of rentals often give a laundry list of extra to-do’s. Great stay near escalante and Bryce.

Just OK

The property was clean and check in was easy. The stairs to the basement apartment did not have handrails and was difficult to maneuver with luggage and grocery bags. The kitchen had 2 burners out on the stove, oven door did not close properly, dishes and utensils were old, sparse and mismatched. I tried to contact the management about where to put the trash and the answer was they didn’t know, and gave us a local number to contact. We never contacted the provided number as we didn’t have time after receiving the response. The reason we gave it 1star in communication was because of this “trash communication” and we had rented the top unit, but it was cancelled 2 weeks before our flight. With no where else available to rent, we ended up in this basement unit. My husband and I had to sleep in the bunk beds. The property is conveniently located and is an easy drive to Bryce Canyon.

The property is 20-25 minute drive to Bryce Canyon National Park. Right off the main road. The house was perfect for us (we are a family of 6) the games in the house were good for our young kids, the kitchen had everything we needed. Overall very happy with our stay.

Great place!

Super cozy spot very close to Bryce, groceries and a pizza joint! Very happy with our stay here and would definitely recommend it for your adventure to the area :)

Comfortable basement apartment

We really enjoyed staying in this cozy and comfortable apartment. It was very clean and well appointed. A very cute 2nd bedroom, that was a bunk room for up to 4 kids. There were games and toys available also.

Enjoyed our stay. 2 heavy days of walking and we were glad to have a nice place to stay. Appreciated the info on the local clinic. Turns out I needed to see. Dr. Before we left town. Thanks to the owners.

Did the job but ...

Property is as advertised - a large basement suite, kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms, living room w laundry access. Main bedroom is very comfortable. Bathroom is more than adequate (did not use room with bunk beds). Overall it wa sgood but a lot of little things (and a few bigger things) were NOT ok. 1) Stairs going down need some repair. Watch yourself with luggage as it is steep. 2) Often with VRBO type accomodation there are some left over supplies from previous guests. These were there but NO salt. Really? Lots of sage and stuff in fridge, and OMG so much black pepper, but no salt. 3) Non-stick pans were beat up and not very non-stick. 4) THE BIG ONE is the stove was 75% useless. One front element was missing entirely. The second front element did not turn on. The back left element got to ~50% of maximum heat and stopped. ONLY the back right element worked properly. Contacted the property manager who said "the maintenace person will fix it tomorrow". They did not. Good location. Nice guests upstairs. Lovely night sky. Convenient. Yet when renting a VRBO part of the reason is to have a functional kitchen. Check before you book that they have fixed the stove.

Perfect "home" for our perfect vacation

Loved the Hoodoo Hideout!! It had everything our group of 5 adults needed and more. When we came back from a big day of hiking, it was the perfect place to kick back and relax. Cannonville is close to all 3 of the parks we visited. We wanted for nothing! Will definitely try to stay here again!

Spacious and entertaining hide away.

This below level home was very spacious with many windows. After a long road trip it felt like a cozy home. The foosball table was entertaining for the entire family. It was very thoughtful to have been left an ice chest to use in outings as well as water in the refrigerator. So glad to have had a washer and dryer too. Great property and just 20 minutes away from Bryce National Park.

Adorable Yellow House

The yellow house was adorable and we were excited to see our apartment. We were not disappointed. Everything was cute and clean. Instructions were clear and posted in a cute way. The house was right next to a community park and close to our church. We were near Bryce Canyon, Kodachrome State Park and other nature areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would come again.

Downstairs home, good for small families

We stayed here when visiting Bryce Canyon. This has a downstairs entrance separate from the other apartments connected to the home. Our kids enjoyed the foosball table, pool/table tennis table, and lofted bed.

Charming home great for family’s with kids

Family of 4 - really enjoyed our stay. It was very family friendly and we enjoyed playing games in the evening after long days hiking. Well appointed kitchen with everything you need. Host was very kind and attentive when we reached out for things. I would absolutely stay here again.
