Deluxe Condo in a Tropical Courtyard Setting steps from the Beach. Our home features two bedrooms, pull-our couch with an aero bed mattress, two bathrooms, dressing room with sink and vanity, and it's own enclosed terrace lanai. On the bayside, enjoy Little Sarasota Bay, heated swimming pool, outdoor showers with hot water, whirlpool, lighted tennis and pickle ball courts (equipment available), exercise room, or relax at the shaded fishing and picnic area. On the beach side, enjoy America's #1 beach on the Gulf of Mexico, heated swimming pool, ourtdoor showers with hot water, whirlpool, and shaded picnic area. Several barbecues are located throughout the grounds. Both gulf and bayside residents enjoy easy access to the beach and all beachside amenities including beach lounge chairs. Indoor activities include playing games, doing puzzles, or finding a book in our community library. The social committee has various activities and events planned each month during season. Our unit has washer, dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven with built in microwave, fully controllable air conditioning/heat, cable TV with Prime Video, Netflix, DVR, On Demand, WiFi/INTERNET, and covered parking. You'll definitely feel at home in the friendly tropical Excelsior community. Excelsior's location is second to none. Enjoy a wonderful collection of shops and restaurants right on Siesta Key. We have quick access to I-75 for trips to Tampa. Orlando, Miami, and the Keys. There are many attractions in area. Bush Gardens, Legoland, Disney World, Mote Aquarium, Ringling Museums, Myakka State Park, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, Deep Sea Fishing, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Historic Spanish Point, St Armand's Circle. Spring Training Parks, Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo, Universal Studios Orlando, Sarasota Jungle Gardens to name a few.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Please return furniture to the original placement if moved.
Please leave only one days' used towels for laundering.
The Lock Box for key return is located in the lobby of building 1, 6263 Midnight Pass Road. The code for the key pad on building 1 is 3626#.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Excelsior Rules are provided at or before arrival.
No pets. roller blades, skate boards, nor any vehicle longer than 18 feet, trailers, campers, motorcycles, boats, or commercial vehicles allowed.
No refunds for early departure.

Great accommodation in a lovely setting.

The property was large and modern with just about everything one would need for a comfortable stay. It was set in a great location with a good sized pool and close to the beach. Several good restaurants were close enough to walk to and the attractions of Sarasota were close by. For golfers, there was plenty of choice of good courses at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Condo

Absolutely beautiful condo. When the owners found out that we were coming down for our daughter's wedding they left us a wonderful bottle of Pino Noir (my favorite). Everything was at least 5 stars. This condo has got everything you will need. The kitchen is completely equipped (even has two sets of flatware) plenty of cooking utensils, dishes and glassware. All the furniture is top notch and very comfortable. You cannot possibly miss with this unit KCVan

Can It Get Any Better?

Great Property with the inter-coastal on one end, the best possible beach for walking and running on the other end and great pools, hot tubs, walkways and landscaping in between! It's walking distance to fantastic restaurants, etc. and an 8 min. drive to more great restaurants, shopping, beaches, etc., etc. in Siesta Key Village! Spending part or most of a day at the Sarasota Ringling Circus museums, mansion, gardens and restaurant is a must and only a 30 min. drive! Add over-the-top restaurants and shopping at Sarasota's Armand's Circle! This property and location is a thorough lesson in how to exceed your expectations - I'm always willing to settle for PERFECT!

We grew up in Chicago and began coming to Siesta Key in the 70's. Our children spent many wonderful School Breaks on the Key. The beach is fantastic. The white powdered sand is always cool enough to walk and play on. In fact, the beach is known for walking, running and building sand castles. Of course, there is nothing like sitting on the beach with a glass of wine enjoying the beautiful sunset. Those are the things we enjoy most about Siesta Key and the Excelsior.

Why they chose this property

We chose our condo because Excelsior is located on the narrowest part of Siesta Key. It’s a very short walk from the beach to the Intracoastal Waterway. On the way, there are lush tropical gardens and large expanses of green lawn. Several ponds with fountains are scattered throughout the gardens. Secondly, we picked Excelsior because of the extra large floor plans. Probably the largest square footage of all the condo's on the key. Lastly, we found the Excelsior community to be very warm and friendly.

What makes this property unique

There are many unique benefits living at or visiting the Excelsior. For example, the Excelsior Social Committee has planned many activities for the Winter Season. Health-wise, you can walk the beach or work out in the fitness center or swim in the heated pools. There are tennis and pickle ball courts for the more active. For those who enjoy a quieter lifestyle, there is a community library to choose a book to read poolside. The sunny days and warm nights are wonderful. Of course, there is nothing like the turquoise water of the Gulf of Mexico to raise your spirits.
