Beautiful 3-Bedroom Seaside Cottage - Located on scenic Freeman Beach

Come relax at Fifty-Four Forty or Fight a stunning beach cottage. You can learn about the unique history of Point Roberts while you enjoy spending time with the whole family.

The beach is just steps off the expansive back patio, where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets over the Puget Sound and Gulf Islands. In the evening, relax by the campfire roasting marshmallows or just gather with family or friends.

Fifty-Four Forty or Fight will be decorated for Christmas by 20 Nov until 8 Jan.

The property was a wonderful place to spend Christmas in Point Roberts. The home is very well equipped and comfortable with everything we needed. Loved that the beach was right outside our door.

Such a great location!

This was such a wonderful place to stay while day tripping into Canada, and also working remotely in the US for a few days. Its location right on the waterfront was fantastic for early morning and late evening walks. It was a very comfortable space and my teenage boys took turns enjoying the bedroom with ocean views. Would absolutely come back in the future for additional stays.

Short family get-away

We had a wonderful stay on the very quiet, private beach, taking lots of long walks and enjoying the sunsets. We spent many hours on the back deck reading and enjoying the view. We cooked most of our meals at the house and the kitchen was very well-stocked. We also used one of the kayaks and the paddle board. We would definitely stay again.

One of the best stays

My family of four had a great time. The owners Sarah and Shane are really great hosts, and responded to all our needs. Everything we need was right there in the house. My son and I really enjoyed the kayaks, while my wife and daughter enjoyed the house and beach. Highly recommended.

Family Vacation

The family thoroughly enjoyed their stay at this beautiful property. The kids enjoyed the kayak and paddleboard and the entire family enjoyed being outside, taking in the beautiful views, and sharing the warmth of a fire in the firepit. It was a perfect place to slow down, de-stress, and enjoy time with each other.

Perfect relaxing getaway!

We were looking for a relaxing week and that is just what we got! The house is very nice and clean. The view is amazing!! Easy walk on the beach and at nearby parks. The host was very easy to work. I hope to go back again this fall.

Beautiful and Relaxing

We had an amazing stay. The house had everything we needed and then some. We loved going out on the water in kayaks and paddle board that are provided. Sarah also provided coffee and a basket of treats that my kids especially loved. We will definitely be back again.

Wonderful home at a beautiful location

My family stayed here for two nights and wished we had booked a week. The property is the nicest I have rented on VRBO and this was echoed by various family who visited on site. Extremely well supplied, very well maintained in a quiet peaceful location with no loud music or radios to disturb anyone as we woke to the sound of the birds and the ocean. We will be back!!

Point Roberts beach house

Sarah was a generous host and excellent and quick commentator. House is on the beach looking directly out on the Straight of Georgia. Fabulous sunsets over Vancouver Island. Open layout with great family space looking out to the sea. Well finished bedrooms and bathrooms. Good beds. Carefully chosen decor and artwork.

Happy Swifties!

We stayed here for the TSwift concert and couldn't have been happier! It was an easy drive to Vancouver. The house was so cute and the location was amazing! We got there when it was dark, so when we woke up and saw the ocean and mountains out our back door it was like Christmas morning! Also loved the speaker system throughout the house, we were able to rock out to Taylor Swift while we were getting ready :) Great communication with the host and we loved the snacks and drinks that were provided! Ate breakfast at the Saltwater Cafe and really enjoyed that too! Would highly recommend this house!

beauty at the beach

we knew this place would be good but we were blown away. can hardly call it a cottage-- more like a dream house! very well equipped, immaculate, spacious.... the beds are extremely comfy. great furniture- inside & out. location perfect. 10 minute walk to the REEF for canucks action! this is the best VRBO i've ever booked. we'll be back. thanks sarah & shane. cheers!

First visit!

Spectacular!! I wish we could have stayed longer. This home has everything! Lots of space, clean, quite but very friendly neighbors, and the most serene view of the ocean! I also so so greatly appreciated the welcome basket! It was completely unexpected, yet so thoughtful and kind- my kids were thrilled! And this cottage was stocked with *all* the essentials and more! It was all the little details that really made this stay spectacular! We stumbled across Point Roberts and this rental, and it felt like a Godwink. We are so thankful you allowed us to stay in your home- we hope to visit again soon! Xo
