This place is awesome! The fishing rocks! The family and friends had a lot of fun kayaking and paddle boarding. (We brought our own paddle boards). I would book this again and again! Would make it an annual trip!

Weekend Retreat

The location is perfect, secluded but easy to get to and close to town. It is a great get-away. It is well stocked and has everything needed. Perfect for a large family

More luxury without Breaking the Bank

I was looking for affordability but what I got was pure luxury at under my budget. The kitchen, bedrooms and bonus rooms were very spacious and accommodating. I spent 3 days and still was unable to fully explore the entire property. We spent most of our time in the closed-in patio and enjoyed watching the beautiful view of the pond and the wildlife. I look forward to future accommodations for my next visit.

Perfect Property

This is an incredible house with a beautiful layout, plenty of room to relax, well stocked amenities, etc. We had such a wonderful, peaceful time. You feel like you are visiting old friends. The sense of comfort is immediate. We were all very sad to leave and can’t wait to come back.

The property is very dated and was not cleaned prior to our visit; it smelled stale and musty when we arrived. There was hair in the master bath sink & dirt/debris in the shower. There were no hand towels in the master bath and the soap dispenser had 1 inch of soapy water vs actual soap, the other 2 bathrooms had Dawn Dish soap in soap dispensers. We bought more. The master bath, which also housed the laundry facilities, had a very foul odor for our the entire stay, but it wasn’t present in any of the other bathrooms. The bath towels (no real pool towels despite being on the listing) were mismatched, old, stained, and had absorbed the foul odor from being left in the room with the toilet/washer/dryer, which made them disgusting to use after a shower. The actual shower drain or water smelled rotten. The lake was very beautiful and we enjoyed the sights and wildlife, however our entire trip was planned around swimming and kayaking, both of which ended up being an issue. The ladder connected to the swimming platform was broken, became disconnected on the 2nd use and posed a safety hazard. The kids were unable to get onto the platform for the remainder of the stay. There were 2 adult size kayaks, however only 1 had a usable paddle- the other disconnected, leaving one guest in the middle of the lake w/ 1/2 paddle. The upper outdoor deck railing was extremely loose, do we avoided it. Management did not even apologize for any issues. We chose to head home early.

Kids attempting to repair ladder. Screws had come loose, the wood was coming up & we didn’t have proper tools. It was deemed unusable by the kids. Bummer.

After reviewing your comments we followed up with the homeowner who shared the following:-The home is accurately represented in the listing photos, and we encourage guests to review them carefully prior to booking to ensure the property aligns with their preferences.-Our cleaning team prepared the home the day before your arrival, so the condition described came as a surprise. A hallway closet is fully stocked with towels—many of them newly purchased this summer—to ensure guests have plenty available.-We were not aware the dock ladder was broken and regret any inconvenience this caused. This has since been noted for repair. Multiple paddles were provided earlier in the season, and we will review these items moving forward to ensure availability.-On behalf of Evolve, we referred you to the local guest contact for on-site assistance with dock-related water depth questions. This helps ensure concerns are promptly addressed and guests feel welcomed.We hope this helps future guests feel confident in choosing our property. We strive to provide an exceptional experience for every guest, as reflected in the consistently positive feedback we receive.

50th High School Reunion Girlfriend Getaway!

This property is amazing! We enjoyed the peace, quiet, and gorgeous views of the private lake. We grilled on the deck, discussed life and our “old age” orthopedic impairments while enjoying morning coffee on the screened in porch, loved walking on the trail around the lake, watched a movie on the big screen in the “wildlife” room, played games on the dining room table, fished off the dock (even caught a bass!) and created meals in the well-equipped kitchen! Since a few of us have mobility issues, it should be noted that there are steps to get into the house (which is shared in the description) but accessing any of the 4 bedrooms requires going up at least one inside step. The master bedroom requires two steps, one step down to the TV room. All bathrooms require going up at least one step. It was all doable! We didn’t really play pool downstairs, but the walk-out family room on the lower level is nice. The owners are obviously world travelers and the home is tastefully decorated with beautiful art, pottery, rugs, and more. Communication with Eric was stellar and we had no problems with the keyless entry. The owner even came by to check on us after a regional power outage due to a storm. We had an absolutely fabulous time! We’ll be back! Thank you!
