Welcome to the BUNGALOW OF BLISS! Your FAMILY vacation awaits. Prepare yourself for relaxation and a peaceful stay for all at this spacious and inviting cottage. Step inside and be amazed by the open concept dining and kitchen area with large windows facing the lake. In the living room you have access to the front deck and back stamped concrete patio for your enjoyment of nature and use of the outdoor BBQ with stainless steel eating space or fire pit. Access to the beach within walking distance!! Just minutes to Grand Bend, the drive in movie theater and a short drive to Bayfield or Goderich. This cottage is surrounded by many golfing options and even has a Chinese food restaurant at the end of the street! Enjoy the sunsets sitting on the front deck looking into to Lake Huron or rest in the large shaded backyard cooking on the stainless steel outdoor kitchen, playing games as a family or relaxing by the fire pit. We had a wonderful holiday at this property. Brittany was very responsive as a host and had everything ready for a smooth check in. We enjoyed the close walk to the beach and the various activities that were all a short drive away. The beds were comfortable and easily accommodated our family of five and two grandparents. I’d highly recommend a stay here!

We loved it!

The cottage was very cozy and clean, and the area is beautiful. There is a very nice small private beach just a couple minutes (walking) from the cottage, and the area itself is quiet and peaceful. It was a perfect size for 5 people to comfortably stay in. It is also not very far from the main beach. We had a great time and would definitely love to come back!

Our stay at the bungalow of bliss was excellent! We came up for the EuroKlassik and this cottage was a gem. Everything was neat and clean and the owner was just a message away if needed. Lake views from the front porch made it a treat. Really enjoyed our time. Thank you Brittany :)

Great Family Vacation

Had a great time in this beautiful beach cottage. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, pans and dishes we needed for big family dinners. The back yard barbecue and fit pit was lovely for outdoor dining and marshmallows around the fire. Comfy beds and the A/C was great as it was a very hot week! Great location, enjoyed dinner and golf at the White Squirrel and walking distance to a private beach. Highly recommend!

Very nice and clean. Close to a nice beach however there's quite a few steps on the stairway to the beach (approximately 90 steps). The closest beach was great for the kids (toddler age) because it was a sandy beach with many sand dunes and was shallow enough for kids. The area was nice & quiet. This place stayed cool enough for comfort as there is no central air conditioning. I would stay here again.

Hi Meghann, It’s unfortunate you weren’t able to locate the board games. There is an entire cabinet full of them open to guests in the dining area. If you were looking for something, you are always welcome to send a message asking where things are. In regards to the linens, this is posted on our ad and available for all to see when booking the property.

Relaxed and spacious get away

Met with a lovely spacious home, super clean and lots of natural light. Very comfortable king-sized bed and a fully stocked kitchen for everything you could need, minus the food. The backyard is lovely with a very handy Bar-B-Q area and comfortable seating. The host was a gem!

It was so nice and clean, nice to stay and really comfortable felt like home. These are things that we did not use was the gas BBQ when we did try there was no gas but it states in the agreement if there isnt we had to get it filled..overall 100% we cant wait to go back. Thank you

Amazing cottage!

My self and 5 other friends stayed at this beautiful cottage for 4 days. Very clean, beautiful backyard for game’s activities, fires and bbq area. 3 spacious rooms with lots of sleeping options. Amazing location with 2 minutes walk to a beach with a beautiful view of the sunset. Close drive to Grand Bend with so many bars and restaurants and activities on the downtown strip. Lovely host, very accommodating and so quick to respond to any questions asked. Definitely exceeded our expectations.

Just what we needed

First off, Brittany is a fantastic host!! So communicative, responsive, gracious and prepared. The property is very cute, clean and what you look forward to in a cottage type rental. The nearby beach is perfect for a late afternoon swim to wear out the kids before dinner and the larger beaches, Saint Joseph’s and of course Grand Bend are very close and easy to get too. Getting to/from all the spots you expect to visit when in the area are close (Bayfield, wineries, the raceway and more). We had everything we needed here and more, and highly recommend renting here to all that find the listing.

Perfect family vacation cottage!

Our family of 6 really enjoyed our time in this lovely home! The light, beach theme is so relaxing and spacious. The cottage is very clean and fully stocked with all the essentials that we needed. We especially appreciated the board games and selection of coffee and tea for the Keurig. The out door grill and fire pit are amazing, as are the sunset views from the front porch. It's very close to the beach and we were able to use the community stairs to access the waterfront without any difficulty. We were so sad to leave on the last day; it was so comfortable that I wish we could have stayed for the whole summer! Communication with the host, Brittany, was very easy and pleasant and we absolutely look forward to returning in the future!

Not bad but missing some basics

Host was very responsive and kind, and the place was quite nice. Linens are not provided and the host specifies no sleeping bags which seems unreasonable. They also specify that if the propane runs out on the BBQ the guest is to refill it at their own expense. Just have two tanks and keep one filled! All in all lacking in basic hospitality given the extremely high price of over 600 per night once all fees were included.

Thank you for your suggestion. We have added the second propane tank. To share context regarding the request not to use sleeping bags, they do not fully cover the bed unless left unzipped resulting in the potential of staining of our mattress covers etc. We aim to keep things as fresh, comfortable and affordable as possible and want to avoid unnecessary costs for our guests post stay if things become soiled. It is unfortunate when guests wait until after their stay to share their concerns about their experience. The information regarding the bedding and propane tank was provided well in advance of this stay with ample opportunity to share any concerns about our requests prior to arrival. When the feedback is left after the stay, we are no longer in a position to address the concerns of our valued guests. We aim to create the most pleasurable experience possible and welcome any feedback throughout the stay to ensure guests make the most of their stay at our bungalow of bliss. All the best. B & D

Our families stayed at Bungalow of Bliss for the third year in a row, and once again it was absolutely perfect! Brittany and Dave are wonderful hosts who always go above and beyond to make us feel welcome.The cottage is beautiful, clean, and has everything we need for a relaxing family getaway. We created so many more amazing memories together and had another fantastic week.We already can't wait to come back next year and continue making this our annual family tradition. One of my clients bought this cottage years ago and decided to sell it. Our family has vacationed here for years and jumped at the opportunity to own this beautiful piece of blissful paradise.

We are so close to the water and you can see beautiful Lake Huron from the front deck while enjoying your coffee. This place has a beautiful energy about it that we fell in love with the moment we walked in to vacation here ourselves a few years ago.

You can have all the comforts of home in this spaciously laid out cottage including a large deck out front to watch the water or the stamped concrete backyard with built in BBQ and fire pit to enjoy the evening after a day at the beach. The Primary room offers an ensuite for additional privacy. The lower bedroom behind the garage provides tons of space for everyone to spread out.
