Located in the historic South Capitol neighborhood, this home makes it easy to explore our entire city on foot. This location is hard to beat with easy access to the Plaza, Canyon Road, and the Railyard. Desiderata is an immersive tribute to the unique aesthetic that attracts travelers to The Land of Enchantment from around the world.

The open living space is perfect for relaxing around the authentic Kiva fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped for a home cook. The dining table seats two.



An office is available just off of the living room, making this home perfect for remote work.

The bedroom features a king bed, and shares a bathroom with a shower/tub combo with the living space.



OUTDOOR SPACE

The patio offers a gas grill and shaded outdoor dining, making it the perfect space to enjoy New Mexico’s world-famous sunshine.

We had a great week in this cozy casita! It was perfect for us (2 adults). Fully equipped kitchen, cute little patio, comfy king bed, and friendly welcome gift on arrival. It’s about a block from an upscale market with everything we needed and about a 10 min walk to the Plaza. Lots of Santa Fe charm. Would highly recommend.

We were greeted with a personalized treat when we arrived. The property managers responded right away with a question we had. The location was good for walking locally, and very close to food trucks. We both highly recommend Two Casitas - Santa Fe

This place was perfect as we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. We are a stickler for cleanliness and this place was spotless. Kitchen had everything we needed as we cook almost every meal. There are restaurants everywhere within a short walk. Having You Tube TV was a plus. Just a 10 minute walk to Loretta Chapel, 15 minutes to the plaza and 25 minutes to the O'keef museum. Communication was excellent, directions were great. We would stay here again when we return to Santa Fe.

Excellent walkable spot in Santa Fe

This cute place ended up being perfect for a few days in Santa Fe. It is walkable to most of downtown plus the Farmers' Market/Railyard area. There is a cluster of food trucks and an upscale market within a block. About the only downsides are a very small bathroom, and little ambiance on the outside. But for what we wanted, it was almost perfect. We didn't need to interact with the owners much, but they were responsive.

Very nice!! And great location

All positive and more. Arrived to a delightful looking place, a bottle of wine, and a snack. Clean, cozy, comfortable, and within walking distance of the plaza and so many restaurants. The fireplace provides the perfect warmth and atmosphere for a comfortable cozy evening (when colder weather) - AND, plenty of firewood provided. We highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Amazing place and location!

My husband and I were in town for a funeral unfortunately, but I am so glad we had this place to come back too afterwards. We walked to multiple coffee shops and restaurants and got some groceries at Kaunes which was not even a 5 minute walk. The check in process was super easy and the checking out was even easier. The beds were comfy and we very much enjoyed the welcoming gifts! Will definitely keep this in mind if we make a trip back to Santa Fe!

Great location!

This place was perfect for my 4 day stay in Santa Fe. I walked almost everywhere. There was a pleasant surprise of a 2nd bedroom that is set up as an office so I was able to work at the desk and not at the kitchen table. There is also a washer and dryer which was a pleasant surprise as well. Would love to come back!

Wonderful little Casita!

So fortunate to have found casita Desiderata at Two Casitas for a 5 day stay in Santa Fe. It is within walking distance to historic downtown so walking there was no issue for us. The casita was very clean, with a comfortable bed, nice towels and is very cute and cozy. We loved it! An extra was wine, chips and salsa waiting for us. Check in and check out was easy easy! All SO nice!

Perfect spot

Had my solo writing retreat here and it was a perfect set up with the second room as an office with two chairs and large table. Was greeted with coffee and cookies, and the decorations gave a true Santa Fe flavor. Had a slight issue when I first got there with critters, but management was communicative and sent out a vendor who treated me like the occupant by answering questions and left direct contact information if anything came up. Downtown plaza, Kakawa Chocolate House and Canyon Road are all walkable within fifteen to twenty minutes. The neighborhood was very quiet. The bed was incredibly comfortable. While the bathroom is small, there were spare shelves for keeping supplies. The kitchen had everything I could need, and I enjoyed washing the dishes by hand (therapeutic, since there wasn’t a dishwasher). My only complaint would be to get a white noise machine to cover up the clicking of the heaters going on and off. I will definitely be back, the weather was perfect, spring flowers blooming and a slower pace to enjoy the artistic scenery! Perfect spot for creative expression :)

What a great little adobe close to downtown Santa Fe!

My spouse and I chose this sweet property for our anniversary trip and quite enjoyed our time at Desiderata. The property was beautifully close to everything downtown Santa Fe, clean with great amenities which made our stay comfy, had a dedicated parking spot which was awesome, but what really stood out for us was the excellent communication from Two Casitas. Not only did we not have to worry about what was expected of us as guests, but all the pertinent information and then some was easily at our finger tips via text messaging and their website. Two Casitas encouraged reaching out with any needs we might have and we didn’t have to. They also offered a wonderful welcome gift of chips, salsa and bottle of champagne. What a wonderful surprise to arrive to after traveling all day! The addition of great suggestions of what to do, see, and eat was also appreciated. There’s a wonderful local market as well as plethora of food trucks just a short walk from the VRBO. We highly recommend grabbing those chips, salsa and drink of choice and heading to the adorable outside patio. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Santa Fe and hope you find it as charming as we did!
