Welcome to Churchill Cabin, a private self-sufficient little studio cabin for two guests. It is located in a quiet street, close to all that Maryborough has to offer, and less than 30 minutes from Hervey Bay, the gateway to K'Gari/Fraser Island and whale watching. NBN ready. The cabin shares a driveway with Churchill Cottage.

Maryborough stop over

My daughter and I were attending a competition at the Event Centre. The apartment was ideal for this. It was very close. A quiet place, nice and quiet. Undercover parking and spotless with everything we needed or an overnight stay.

Cute cabin in quiet location

I loved this little cabin. Everything we needed was supplied. The interaction with the hosts was both prompt and friendly. I would definitely book this cottage next time I am in Maryborough.

Just a visit to area with dog

Very inviting, made my little dog welcome the cottage was perfect for us and anyone looking for a safe and friendly environment. It was very quiet and very clean.The owners made contact the day before to ensure all was going to be okay and any problems don’t hesitate to call

Roomier than expected

This is a very comfortable cabin with a good sized fully fenced yard where it is safe for your pet to run around. The cabin itself is roomier than expected especially for the very reasonable rate. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect for a quiet non fuss stay at Elliot Heads. For a couple of is perfect, and could accommodate a couple with two or three children, as as everyone happy to sleep in the one bedroom. Clean, comfortable, well equiped kitchen, big yard, close to the beach.

Rally Obedience Trial

I stayed again this year at the Cottage with my dogs as we had a Rally trial nearby. It is perfect for myself and my boys. The Cottage has everything I need. Great to have privacy/light shades, and I always get a wonderful nights sleep. The Cottage is clean and fresh. So many little extras just in case you have forgotten anything. I love that there is the availability to have as many towels as you need. Although I only needed one. I do love one for my hair if I wash it. And dog towels and bowls waiting. We did bring our own. But it gave me a warm feeling to see them carefully placed waiting for us. And the outside area is private enough to be relaxing and peaceful. The yard allowed the dogs to play tag and catch around the house without me keeping a close eye they didn't get into mischief. The outside yard is big enough that I could train my dogs there as well as play with them. I love that I can park well back off the road to get the dogs out and slip them into the yard, keeping them safe and me happy. Thank you Jackie and Daryl for allowing myself Washington Dallas and Texas to be guests at your lovely Cabin. We look forward to our next visit. Bev

Awesome!!

Jackie & Daryl were wonderful Hosts. They were very kind, friendly and very helpful. They assisted me throughout the stay and made me feel very comfortable. Normally I have to leave my Dog and Best Friend Xena at home. Which i don't like doing. Love the fact that i can take her with me now. Xena was also very welcomed and that made to feel comfortable. The high Colourbond fences were great for privacy and Xena. I highly recommend Jackie and Daryl and the cabin and look forward to staying there on my next visit!

We don't live at the property, so our guests have the entire house to themselves, however if you do need us we are able to be contacted at any time on our mobile.

Maryborough is a very historical town, lots of museums to explore and the home of Mary Poppins Guided walks and river tours are available to discover the full heritage of this charming little town. It is only 30minutes away from Hervey Bay (the whale watching capital) and beautiful K'Gari/Fraser Island. Churchill Cabin is in walking distance to the corner shop and Post Office and the shopping center is 10 minutes away by car. Free parking is available within our property or outside in front of the home.
