Extremely private property,700 sq ft. huge deck with great view of the lake's 40 miles of connected waterways. Excellent fishing & swimming, BBQ, outdoor fire pit, and open area for activity. Quiet, stress free, and exclusive lakefront cottage at the end of a cul-de-sac surrounded by mature, natural trees and tranquility for the perfect holiday vacation. Hiking trails right out the front door. 10 minute drive to the spectacular, must-see Screaming Heads, Midlothian Castle outdoor exhibit encompassing huge cast-concrete sculptures on a 310 acre property. Long dock and amazing swimming, fishing or rent a boat at the local Marina. West Facing Sunsets, Walking Trails, Local Yoga and Nightlife. ALGONQUIN PROVINICIAL PARK AND ALMAGUIN HIGHLANDS.

Great summer stay

The cottage was amazing and was great for our toddler to stay at. The beds were SO comfortable and the deck was for sure a big feature. Definitely recommend this cottage. Well worth the money.

Beautiful and tranquil setting

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was spacious and clean. The setting was beautiful, with a large deck overlooking the water. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer!

The cottage is so bright and comfortable. Lots to do! We loved the kayaks and paddle board and floaties. We would just drift off with the current in the sun and my husband would pull us back with a kayak. The deck out the back is the best and appreciated the gate to keep an eye on our dog.

Weekend friends getaway

It's a beautiful property tucked away and with lots of privacy. We loved the view from the deck and the walk out onto the dock is stunning! The only small issue we had was that one of the bunks had bedsheets with hair and a small stain on the pillowcase. But we found clean sheets in the dresser and changed them out. Would definitely book again!

Great view of the lake from cottage, very roomy and comfortable. Every thing worked, kitchen was very well equiped , large dining room table, large deck , internet was fast and cell reception was strong. The beds were very comfortable with fans in all the rooms. Even the toilet paper was soft.

Amazing peaceful getaway

Love the the porch had a gate. Made the porch a nice safe place for the dog and she loved being outside and having a bit of freedom even when we were busy in the kitchen. The property was very nice and loved the long dock that went down to the water. The cottage was nice and clean and very homey. Beautiful lake front and got amazing sunset.

PEACE & QUIET

We went to enjoy the fall colours and to celebrate our 56th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, it rained the three days of our stay but we were comfortable and we got in a couple of walks. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is totally outfitted with spices and pots and pans and dishware. I did miss having stemware for my wine. It was great to have a lake view and use my binnoculars. There is a walk-in shower which is great for seniors. There is no tub. Great communication with the hostess. Thank you Jackie for sharing your cottage!

I am from the Oakville area and love the North. I fell in love with Heaven Knox when I first saw the view. The cottage was only Plywood and 2x4s and finished it with the idea of eventually living there. I enjoy hosting this lovely piece of Heaven and hope that others could and would enjoy it as well.

Why they chose this property

It has enormous peace and quiet. The trees, the view and the tranquility are second to none. It is my little piece of Heaven. Feels like I am in my own little world and hope you do too!

What makes this property unique

The Vista, the Energy, the Quiet retreat in Nature. Nature at its finest! In the Spring we have front row to the Aurora Borealis. Deep rich waters full of fish and wildlife.....roaring Mighty Magnetawan River rushing past my doorstep.
