Good but should have more basics provided
My family traveled to Surfers Paradise for Christmas vacation. We enjoyed the size and wonderful view of the unit but we were not told about the dual system of air conditioning. You either have the air on in living room OR the bedrooms. So the first night everyone was very uncomfortable sleeping in bedrooms that felt like saunas. It took someone on the elevator to tell me about the dual system. They need to explain that and have signs on the switch. For the amount of money we paid to rent, there should be adequate toilet paper, soap etc for us without having to go out and buy it! Also should provide beach and pool towels. I had to bring dish soap and laundry detergent from home. The other annoying thing was we only get 2 fobs to unlock the door. So it was challenging to figure out between 8 of us who got the fobs when. We still recommend the unit however due to its lock and size. The property manager did provide 3 new room fans and a new trash can so kudos for that. They need to provide a decent coffee machine. They have a kettle and some dried coffee that we didn’t like. You should know these things going in so you aren’t disappointed with what you get.
