Follow the signs to Bear Bottom to find this unique and private home in the base area at Loon Mountain. Park under the carport and be greeted by the local skier when entering to stow your gear in the colorful cubbies. Head past the owner’s lock-off apartment and up the winding stairs to the main bedroom level. Here you’ll find a den with a TV, a full bath, and a washer/dryer set, as well as two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and one with a set of bunk beds and two twins. Head up to the top floor and enjoy the open-plan views. The living room features a hanging wood stove and the dining area seats 8 with 4 more chairs at the fully-equipped kitchen’s counter. Also on this level are another queen bedroom, another bath, and access to the large deck with plenty of room to enjoy the sun and trees waving in the breeze.

While here, enjoy the membership access to the Mountain Club Fitness Center in the hotel just yards away. The Fitness Center has an indoor pool, outdoor pool, three Jacuzzis (one outdoors), sauna, steam room, cardio and weight exercise rooms, a basketball/racquetball court, and yoga/spinning classes available to members. The hotel also offers the Viaggio Spa, for massage, facial, and other spa treatments to relax and enjoy.

Locally you will find plenty of seasonal and year-round activities to fill your time including shopping, golfing, mini-golfing, amusement parks (including a local water park), gondola/tram rides, natural attractions, alpine skiing and snowboarding, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, river swimming, kayaking, bird watching and much more.

This home provides two to four parking spaces.
Dogs are welcome in this unit. There is a $50 + tax one-time pet fee per dog with a max limit of 2 dogs allowed.
The pool and fitness club may be unavailable for short periods due to mechanical or physical maintenance. Admittance may be denied for non-adherence to club rules.
This home does not have winter ski shuttle access.

Favorite Rental

Eight of us rode the Kanc and used this house as basecamp, we each ranked it five out of five stars. The living room is awesome and with the windows open the sound of the raging river was the icing on the cake. Kitchen and peninsula made socializing while cooking a breeze. The deck and Adirondack style chairs were the perfect place to relax and hang out after our big ride. Clean, fun layout, and exactly what we were hoping for. We will be back!

A Real Treehouse!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had so much fun. We took day trips, we hiked, we rode the gondola. We went to One Love Brewery, the dog was welcome. The food was delicious. We had everything we needed. We highly recommend.

Lovely place; need electrical work

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I picked the house because of its more or less isolated location surrounded by nature.It was more than adequate for our needs however - The breakers kept tripping and at least two were tripped before we came - the one for the outside driveway lights and the one for the back deck.The handyman? came to fix the driveway lights the first night - Thank you very much - by resetting the breaker. After that, I reset that breaker when needed. The other breakers were behind a second floor door blocked by a couch. The electrician came and reset the kitchen breaker but never reset the deck light breakers.Other than the also peculiar layout of the stairs and the floors, the place was great! Very well maintained and near to everything we wanted.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We typically rent a riverfront condo but this yr due to floods we had to be relocated to Bear Bottom. The location/privacy/parking was great! Amenities were good at the mountain club. The house was nice but it lacked the NH feel.Family photos everywhere. The bathroom downstairs was weathered and could use a bit of an update. The lifelike statue that greets you as you walk in is hard to get used to. kitchen and back deck are both beautiful. Could use a tv in the top floor living room. Cool path through the woods but we did see a bear off the deck the first night. overall it was good, but miss my original unit.
